McGrady and Howard... What could have been
|
How are we going to get a allstar SG in this league. I'm not willing to get vince carter. Because it looks like he is really getting older, and won't be able to produce alot if he is here. How about if we go after Ray Allen in a 3 way deal? |

Why give up so early? The season is not over... we were on top before, we just need to get it in gear. Were still in the running for the playoffs; and were way ahead of schedule compared to last year. We just need to realize that were in the EAST which means we will have a chance at the playoffs all the way until the season ends. We have time to get it together. Just as fast as we started losing, we can turn it around and win. |

Think about it.... What does every single team have to go with their big men. a good SG. Shaq and Wade, Nash and Stoudimire. I really can't see that with Jameer anymore being that Wade or Nash. But I see him being a large part of the team. |

Jameer and Nash are PG's. ![]() Who do you give up for a "All-Star SG" then? |

Ray Allen is older thsn VC though.. I say trade for Paul Pierce (give them a package including Grants expiring contract) and get him out of Boston or wait for VC in off season! |

At the beginning of the season, I was against getting an "All Star" SG, but now you can tell with how inconsistent this team is, they need someone who you know is gonna put up 25 points a night. This team cant completely rely on Dwight Howard every night for that type of OFFENSIVE production. Not yet at least. |

Nash could average 25-30 points if he wanted to. If he team needs it, he will do it. But the team is good as it is for them. But he isn't the shooting gaurd. My bad |

I like trying to acquire Billups from Detroit. I would love to see him, starting alongside a big defensive minded shooting guard (i.e. Ariza). Jameer would make an ideal backup PG, in my opinion. And it would give us a consistent scoring option who knows how to close out games. |

Isnt Billups a free agent after this year? Ariza a SG? Hardly... But i get what your saying and i agree. (Hedo could play SG though, and he does alot during games). Ariza is in the future plans along with Dwight. If we acquire a experienced PG to run the team, like Billups, we should be set. Dwight/Darko Battie/Outlaw/Augustine/Garrity ![]() Ariza/Hill? Hedo/Redick/Dooling Billups/Nelson/Arroyo/Diener <--Problem here.. Too many guards So we will need some help at the 3... and get rid of a PG and Garrity. And yes i know that lineup can be switched around many different ways... but im just experimenting. |

Pierce will have a tough time leaving Boston as their owner is in LOVE with him. He has an autographed Pierce jersey above his desk, in fact. As for Carter, he still might be our best bet, but there is a chance he could go if Memphis agrees to a Gasol-for-VC deal. Then we'd have to grab him this offseason. Rashard Lewis is another option, but Im worried how his current injury could affect him. His hand seems to have sustained major damage. Quite a quagmire there... |
