I dont think we can blame this loss on Arroyo despite how bad we played...even though he threw up some terrible shots he was there when we made our run to cut the lead to 1 in the fourth quarter. Unfortunately Arroyo always goes throught this type of slumps during the second quarter of the season, but he always plays a lot better after the all star break. I just wish he could find his way a little earlier than february since this team needs him. Im not one to make excuses, but maybe playing during the summer has fatigued him a bit.

We didn't score a single point in overtime until 25 seconds left. Did anyone see how many shots we took coming up to that point? 5!! That's right. Five whole shots. Doing the math, that's just about 1 shot per MINUTE! Our offense is slow as s**t and it's killing us. We are pump faking and giving up open shots so we can make an extra unnecessary pass with 2 seconds left in the shot clock. We almost get called for shot clock violations on every possession. It's sad and terrible to watch. I don't know what B Hill is thinking. We have depth, and yet he wants to slow the game down. Doesn't make sense to me, but hopefully his plan works out. I have nothing else to say.

It's Xbox 360 time for me, baby!! Thanks God for that system. It's the only thing keeping me sane after tonight's loss.

I Agree 100%

thats a tough loss. i'm sick of loosing to team we shouldn't!!!!!!!

Arroyo had another stellar night going 0-6 from the feild. When is anough anough from this dude!?!?!? Why doesn't brian hill put someone else in? I don't understand it? I am so pissed whenever i see him get off the bench because i KNOW no good can come of it. i am a very man magic fan right now.

It is what it is. B Hill isn't going to change any time soon. This team is deep and has an uptempo group yet we play at a snails's pace. To make it worse we move the ball around and when someone is open they don't shoot it cause they can't. Why are JJ and Travis not playing. I just hope Hill is gone next year. His coaching style is getting old very fast. This team with with a coach like Mike D'Antoni would just rock.

Is Arroyo in some kind of funk or is this really him? I must say, he is really bad at doing a Stevie Francis impersonation. He is just not contributing anything anymore and Jameer isn't doing much more. I'd really like to see Diener given a chance as well as JJ like others have said. I also think that Ariza was missed in this game as it seemed nobody wanted to drive to the basket.

arroyo is in a real funk but i have to say the coach had to say keep shooting or something. most his shot came wide open which is more frustrating when he misses but i doubt it is really him.

This was one of the worst loses of the season, I dont mind losing to Phoenix, they're a better team and we came back frmo 18 down and showed some guts. Tonights loss to an inferior team with injury problems just demonstrates one of the fundamental differences between a good team and a great team. Great teams win when they're supposed to, Good teams fluctuate and man did we flucking fluctuate tonight. Low energy even after 2 days rest. Arroyo was a travesty-AGAIN. He just isn't very smart. Given the success we have had with young talent, why the crap isn't Hill playing Denier OR Reddick more? Bogans is streaky and mistake prone, Pat Garrity is useless on the court, might as well set up a white scarecrow. We are a young tema, let's show some recognition of that fact and commit to Denier as a backup at least. We have a ways to go before we're where we need to be guys, and last night was a reminder of it.

The problem is that on two of those shots he came down looking to shoot instead of setting up a teammate for an easy layup. I believe we had like a 3 on 2 the last 2 times and it's frustrating to see a player chucking up shots when they aren't going in. We have absolutely no outside threats on the court most of the time, NONE. Pretty pathetic when you have 2 great shooters riding the pine. Well at least Miami is starting to play better which means our state will have decent representation come playoff time. I'm not giving up on this team but it sure seems like management is going to be happy just to make the playoffs this year. They could care less if we got any further than the first round.

Kind of ironic how they highlighted "Team Chemistry" for the halftime show in a game where there was none.

Also...i almost lost it when Pat Garrity first came in the game and they ran a POSTUP play for him?!! WTF??? I guess if Howard is having a hard time taking it to the rim give it to Patty and see if he can intimidate.

that is why i said that the coach said something cause he came out of a time out shooting. probably the coach is trying to get his confidence back. he shore was frustrated by not making them. that does not take from the fact that he is still not making them. i say if he is not feeling good or has an injury then let someone else play.

I am a fan of Arroyo. Honestly, I didn't think that Arroyo's slump was going to last this long. Like someone mentioned in a thread, he more than anybody wants those shots to go down, but I think Brian Hill's patience is running thin with Arroyo's peformance. That's not him out there, even in his worst times in Utah his performance wasn't this bad. For the sake of the team, I will definitely bring Diener back into rotation, and let Arroyo work his way up again. It's clear that he is frustrated, but his frustration is not helping the team. I was the first one to defend Arroyo with any critics, but is time to do something. I wonder how the crow in Orlando will perceive him now that he is not producing.

That's one of the best posts I've read about this situation.

we deserved to lose this one. We looked very inexperienced out there. We didnt play as a team by any means.
