We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. Thank you!!!!!Your language shows were you are coming from.......I could care less if you keep bashing Chuck unjustly.....I wrote down three names , and pasted them next to my computer and from now on.....I'll simply roll down your posts.By the way....I checked the Dic 11 ,Phx game mentioned by Zuppafly and Dienner's play againt Nash was BS.....Dienner played 17.54 min...most with Arroyo at point and the last 10.25 in the 4th Qt when the score was already decided (99-87).....by the way...the moderator of the web site should look into some of the language used here. |

lol, you have no clue about what you're talking about, do you? You checked the game (boxscore) against Phoenix? Oh, nice... how about knowing what happened in the game? How about reading the game thread? (I could say: how about watching the games but I assume you didn't had the chance to do it back then) Diener was our only PG in that game that could slow down Nash. And he also had a good offensive game (not stellar, but good). Arroyo in that game? Well, go read the game thread and see for yourself what we all wrote back then about his game. You have no clue about what you're talking. |

Garrity is also a player of this squad. Does that mean that we shouldn't say he sucks? You logic has absolutely no logic. Arroyo's game this year is hurting the team. Period. If you can't see it you're either a fanboy who doesn't care for the team or simply blind. |

Had Chuck not held onto the ball so many times, taken horrific shots, missed wide open shots, committed fewer turnovers, we would be 10 games over .500. Instead, he's played a huge role in us losing 2 straight games (granted the refs helped, but obviously we have to win from here on out with games being 8 on 5). Diener played Nash beautifully in O-Town. There's a reason why B-Hill suited Diener up last night and had JJ inactive, he's losing faith in Chuck, and it's about time. Chuck was wonderful last season, but the s**t he's pulling off now would get his throat slashed anywhere else. |

Even Arroyo had a great start this year. However, at some point during this season, something happened and he just hasn't been the same. He's the #3 PG on this team right now, no matter if Coach Hill admits it or not. I was down on Travis this season, but when he actually got on the court, he did very well. And that was with the 1st and 2nd team guys playing against the 1st and 2nd team guys. He should be getting Arroyo's minutes. |

My only problem with the team right now, is that we waste too much of the shot clock. This happens mostly with Arroyo in the game, but sometimes when he isn't in either. We will look to drop it into the post for 10 seconds out of the 24 second clock. That's way too long. We also walk the ball up the court and sometimes BARELY get over without being called for 8 seconds. The part that kills me is when some of our players just stand at half court and just dribble standing in place. It looks like we are playing for the last shot or something, but it's in the middle of the 2nd quarter!! I can count atleast 10 possessions last game where we forced up a shot because the shot clock was running out. I don't know when we will learn. |

I think you must have forgotten early in the season when Arroyo put up a few 20+ point games and carried our offense when Jameer was struggling.

Yeah, I sohould have place there a "2" instead of a "0". He did well against Atlanta and Washington in our 2nd and 3rd game of the season. Tht doesn't change a word of what I said earlier

Okay, so i apolgize for my "attack" earlier. I went to check out some stats from his season with the Pistons to try to justify my frustration with him and there he played less minutes than he even gets here yet managed to contribute very well. Some random games: 11minutes played, 5asts, 8points, 0TO 17minutes played, 7asts, 10points, 1TO Granted they were the stats that stuck out cause they looked good, but thats what he can do so why can't he do that now, like we want him to? Who is he trying to impress (if anyone)? Cause i know i'd find those stat lines alot more impressive than some of the ones he's been putting up recently. But i know he's been going through a rough patch recently too..so maybe i am sometimes a little harsh on him. But when we need someone to contribute and he is missing open shots and making some silly TO's, it's really difficult to stay calm with someone. |
