We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. Yeah we'd domiate because their one lone Big Man is hurt. He's a good shooter when healthy though. But would we domite the West Coast too because of losing Milicic x# of games??

Who cares... If the playoffs were to start today, we would play the Nets... We would play againts the Nets. and they aren't very good. They are old, and slow. Also they don't have big men. So we would dominate them in the front court. We would also out run the their back-court.

I would love to play the Nets in the playoffs.

1. Because most of the people I know are Nets fans and it would be great to beat them and...
2. I live 25 minutes from the arena in NJ and I could go to my first Magic playoff game ever!!

Um... They lost thier best big man. If we lost Darko for "X number" of games, we would still have big Bo, Dwight, Augustine, Ariza, Gar.... nope thats all.. i think we could handle it... He hasnt had that much of an impact lately anyways. So your argument isnt the greatest one.

Still can't believe that Ariza dunk.
So who's was better.....Ariza on Okafor 2007 or Penny on Ewing 1995?

As far as the Nets go, I thought that the rule was changed so that if a team like Cleveland or Orlando has a better record at the 4 spot, they move up and take the 3rd. Wasn't it the Dallas Mavericks rule? I can't remember for sure.

Nevermind the previous statement. I forgot the Bulls lost tonight and we moved up to the 5.

Trevor has scored in double digits the past 8 straight games.
Hey Emeka, HOW YO' BALLS FEELING?!!!! :wow: :D
Great to see JJ and Diener doing damn well in the 4th.
Pat Bastard comes through as well (basically our victory cigar).
Hope Darko will be ok, no idea what happened to him.

Oh yeah, we're 6-0 with Keith as a starter.

McGrady and Howard... What could have been
That's one of the most vicious slams I've ever seen. Ariza literally steped on, or kicked okafor to the floor. I think he kicked him in the balls.

The Question of the which dunk was better. Ariza by a landslide. Because he was litterally walking on okafor's face. Penny just moved his arm around Ewing to get the slam.

Another fun win against a team that pretty much mailed this one in. Had the Magic controlled the defensive glass in the first half this one would have been over much sooner.

Ariza-I don't get all excited about dunks, last time I looked they counted the same as a jump shot or tip on. I will say his pasting of Okafor was the final turning point in the game. I cannot say enough about ALL the things Ariza does on the court, this guy keeps looking more solid and has all the tools to be great.

JJ-Looked out of sorts in the first half (when the game was competitive), looked great at garbage time. I am fully in support of minutes nightly to see if he can take the big shots when they count.

Diener-I read the Magic want to resign him this off season, if I am Travis I tell them "unless you are going to play me, no thanks". Its time to hand over the back up PG slot to Diener, or its time to deal him for a useful piece. If I am Travis Diener, I do not sign a contract this off season, wait til next season, go on the market as a restricted FA and force the Magic's hand. Can anyone honestly say that given what we have seen of Arroyo lately Diener would not have to potential to be a better option? And can anyone honestly say that in 3 years, 5 years whatever that Diener will not have a bigger impact on whatever team he is playing for than Arroyo?

Its time to give Battie the credit that is due him. If Darko is out, that will mean more Battie and I cannot help but wonder if that is really a bad thing.

Oh...another nice game by Jameer. Only 3 assists but the team had 22 so the ball was moving and he once again shot the ball well and made good decisions. If he can keep this up over an extended period I just might have to get that graphic with his picture.

Boston coming up, a very winnable trap game. Would be nice to get #21 before the roadie.

Accually I came out in support of this move a couple weeks ago. I don't know if the outcome will be an overall positive, but I am willing to see.
