NOTE FROM THE FORUM OWNER:

We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. Brace Yourself, Magic Fans

The Magic face Kobe Bryant next, followed by Gilbert Arenas, Dywane Wade and Elton Brand.

Their schedule is about to grow teeth and fangs, a tough home set followed by another trip West.

The Magic are slumping, having lost seven of their past 10 games.

The Magic look tired, mentally and physically, and that's likely why Coach Brian Hill cancelled Sunday's practice. They will have off Sunday and Monday. Maybe by their next game -- the Lakers come to town Wednesday night --- they will have small forward Hedo Turkoglu back.

Their offense has struggled, and Turkoglu's return means the orginal starting lineup is back intact. Everybody returns to their role.

Turk is not the defender or rebounder that Trevor Ariza is, but he is by far a more prolific scorer. He gives the Magic a shooting threat, especially late in games.

The Magic have gone 17-12 through the "easy" part of their schedule. Now it gets tougher,  the L.A. Lakers, the Washington Wizards (in D.C.) --- who have cut into their Southeast Division lead ---the Miami Heat and the L.A. Clippers.

Then, after two games at home against the Charlotte Bobcats and the Boston Celtics, they hit the road for their final trip West this season. And this one is against Golden State, Lakers, Phoenix and New Orleans/Oklahoma City.

This is gonna be a HUGE test. See if this team can bounce back from their recent struggles. Very telling weeks coming up

Going 2-1 over the next 3 would right the ship completely, but to be honest I would take 1-2 right now and run with it.
