We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. However this game is strangely like the Cleveland game. We continue to ignore the 3 point line and the other team hits a few and makes the difference in the game. I don't know what it will take for Coach Hill to realize that we need some 3 point shooting, but if he's this stubborn in his offensive scheme, he deserves to lose. |

We'll be lucky if we are in top of our own division by the end on January.

END of January? It will be a minor miracle if we are there before January begins. |

It seems like our bench was in there the whole 4th quarter. It's good to know Coach Hill realizes that we have more players on our team than those 5. |

I'm speechless. Would it be an understatement to say that the Coach has lost his team? |

Seriously wtf is wrong with our team. I mean not only are we losing games we are sopposed to win but it seems like they no longer have the fire and desire to win that they had at the start of the season. |

They musta gave into their own hype and now are wallowing in self pity cause the start of the season was obviously a fluke judging by the last few games. |

I posted this http://magicmadness.us/index.php?showtopic...post&p=10005896 15 days ago when we were loosing to the Suns. Looking back now I don't take back a single word from those last two paragraphs.

Well Magic madness fans......all is not lost. Board favorite Jameer Nelson showed great defensive prowess holding all star Smush Parker to a mere 18 3rd quarter points. Of course Jameer ran the offense flawlessly when on the floor (a great night....7 whole assists!!!). Yes, we can all be proud of the growth of Jameer as a player. We are indeed lucky to have such a talent running this team. Without Jameer's countless contributions the game would not have been nearly as close. Yes, Smush outplayed him badly when it counted, but we are talking about SMUSH PARKER, one of the NBA's big time superstars. Not every team can have a Smush Parker, we have to be content with Jameer, well, cause....just because.....you know...he is a cornerstone. We are blessed Brutal |

You're right zuppa. This loss goes on coaching to me. The rotations in the 2nd half were terrible, Redick and Diener are rotting on the bench tonight, and we haven't hit one 3 pointer. I'm starting to lose all confidence in Hill. |

I couldn't agree more. The problem is definitely the coach. Get used to this as we won't be changing the coach this year. Look for Denier and JJ to start next year. It will give us a great point who can shoot but looks to pass first, and JJ who can just shoot. We need another big to help out with the rebounding. This is still a rebuilding team, so if they wind up 4 or 5 games over 500 and make the playoffs it will be a move in the right direction. |
