B-Hill said that Keith is a very slim possibility in playing tomorrow. Hedo and Jameer are definitely out.
Jameer may be back Friday.
Hedo is definitely out until after Christmas (should be back for the Laker game).

More time for Diener and JJ then.

As long as I don't get to see Garrity (unless we have secured the W) I am fine with it also.

Go Magic!

Provided Arroyo stinks as he has for the last week and a half, and Diener gets major minutes I will interested to see how well he plays Chris Paul.

This one should be a W, but the Hornets have played pretty well given their injury situation.

Brutal.......only providing superficial analysis....

Nelson should use this as his "the team needs me" game. He will have a tough time with Paul, so he needs to be his best.
On another note, we really should start winning because Arenas and the Wiz are looking scary lately.

Well, it feels like we haven't played in a week. This game comes down to who wants it more. Both teams are struggling with injuries, and both teams are missing starters. I'm in favor of just trying to minimize Chris Paul's assists. I really couldn't care less how much he scores, but if we can prevent him from involving the rest of their team in the offense, we should win this one pretty easily. It will be interesting to see who plays for us, because they've been giving conflicting reports over the last few days.

It's been fun watching Diener (and JJ, to an extent) grow up right in front of us. Both look a little bit better each game, espescially Diener. Hopefully, they both have strong outings tonight and the Magic can try to keep their ever-shrinking lead on the rest of the East (minus Detroit).

...and I really hope Garrity doesn't play tonight.

Very true. I have loved seeing our youth movement in these past few games. I really really hope that we play Redick a lot more. -Not because I think he will help our team necessarily, but I think it is important for us to see if he actually shows signs of growing into anything so we know how desperately we need a SG this offseason.

Magic relax, avoid controversy

While Keith Bogans is expected to be available against the Hornets after missing the last four games with a sprained right ankle, Ariza is likely to make his fourth consecutive start at small forward. His first three starts came within a four-day stretch, so Monday and Tuesday marked the first time Ariza got the benefit of a full practice with the rest of the Magic's first unit.

...

The Magic haven't played since their 81-74 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers that concluded a stretch in which they had 14 games in 23 days.

"That was a hell of a stretch -- 11 days on the road and then six games in nine days," coach Brian Hill said. "It's not just what it does to you physically. It's what it does to you mentally."

"It's just good to not have a game every other day," Dooling said. "It's been refreshing for us."

Despite their first three-day lull between games all season, the Magic remain without two injured starters, guard Jameer Nelson and forward Hedo Turkoglu.

Nelson took part in some halfcourt work Tuesday but has not fully healed from a strained groin. Turkoglu did not practice and will miss his sixth consecutive game with a sprained right ankle.

"Jameer is probably still at least a game away from coming back," Hill said.
