Awesome. As long as he passes his physical, he should be fine. We will have a deep QB pool just like Tampa Bay and that should do wonders on offense. And especially when Culpepper gets hurt or starts sucking.

Pretty good pickup for the Dolphins. He's old, but he can still play. He'll provide veteran leadership, and I think he'll have fun hooking up with Chris Chambers down the line.

Cam need to strike gold with all his moves. He let Randy McMichael go without compensation, now Culpepper appears on his way out. This guy need to learn how to play poker and not show his hand all the time.

Well, guess that Culpepper jersey I bought is officially garbage! :)

I welcome Trent. Hopefully he teaches John Beck a thing or two.

There are more quarterbacks in Florida than in the rest of the NFL combined.

The Dolphins have already informed Culpepper that they're planning on moving him, or if there are no suitors then he'll likely to be released. It's sad, the guy used to be one of the best QBs in the league. The reason why he was a disappointment is because of that knee injury, it takes long time to come back from and I think he rushed it. So I think it's unfair that the majority of Dolphins fans are ragging on a guy that's obviously not right yet.

Yeah, Daunte could be going to Jacksonville as a backup.

Would be great if the Dolphins could get some sort of compensation for him.

Man this year's team and last years are so different. Very exciting.

DAVIE, Fla. (AP) -- Trent Green's first practice with the Miami Dolphins was apparently Daunte Culpepper's finale in South Florida.

Frustrated by the team's decision to let him only participate in individual drills, Culpepper walked off the practice field -- accompanied by a member of Miami's security staff -- about an hour into Friday's start of a three-day minicamp and vowed that he'd block the Dolphins' plans to trade him.

It was the latest entry in an up-and-down week for Culpepper. On Monday, he was told his surgically rebuilt right knee was strong enough to let him practice. Tuesday, he learned the Dolphins were trading with Kansas City for Green. Wednesday, the team told Culpepper they wanted to trade him, prompting his Thursday request for a release.

"Any team that's interested in my services, just sit tight," Culpepper said. "I'm not going to agree to a trade."

More drama in Florida. We could have used Culpepper as our backup, but now we have to let him go to another team and be their backup. Yeah hes injury prone but as a back up, like Grant Hill, the injury chance is reduced.

Looks like Culpepper has demanded his release. Hopefully they can get a trade worked out though. I would rather have him over Green anyway. It's not like they're going anywhere.

Give the guy still with upside the shot.

Miami Herald - Cam Cameron said Ted Ginn's ability to handle returning punts and kickoffs in ''tough weather'' is a major plus, as is his prowess on special teams.

''There are a ton of receivers in this league who have no interest in being that punt returner,'' Cameron said.

He also was struck by how Ginn seems to catch the ball ``so effortlessly.''

Cameron characterized Ginn's development at receiver as a ``work in progress.''

Ginn, who has not spent most of his career as a receiver, needs to work on routes and technique.

''We're trying to make it as hard on him as we can,'' Cameron said. ``We're putting him on the line of scrimmage where he can't move. The worst thing we can do for him is to start moving him around and doing all the stuff where he can get free access.''

Ginn NEEEEDS to start working as a WR right away. That is far too high a pick to spend on a punt returner.

Not so, my friend. Now you have a throwback jersey.
