I think Miami played well except for the 4th quarter, same with Culpepper. I dont know what happend in the 4th but other then that they played a good game. But I think their a good team and can make it to the playoffs. It was against the defending champs so its not a big deal. If they lost against the Texans or sumthin that would of been different.
BTW, Dallas is gonna destroy every team so hopefully the team u like wont play against us.

ahahahaha, I really thought Dolphins were going to win. But my God..... Charlie Batch outplayed Culepepper. Batch hasn't even played that many games in his career. Miami didn't have a good game at all. Your Secondary is so weak too.
If you guys were to make the playoffs. you wouldn't survive the first round.

Until I see the secondary do better, I definitely won't refute this.

Information Overload
MVPs (Most Valuable Players)
Ronnie Brown (RB. MIA) – I wrote the Dolphins’ team preview and said Brown would go off. I stand by this assessment. Brown had 2 TD’s while Culpepper couldn’t get the ball to his WRs or TE. Culpepper will play better, but Brown will stay strong all year.
MFPs (Most Frustrating Players)
Nick Saban (HC, MIA) – Listen, Nick. This isn’t college. No one is going to call you Mr. Saban. When you throw a challenge flag, hit the official with it. Hard. And then scream your head off. C’mon, Sabes. Bring you’re A-Game. Of course, I’d make the same comment to Bill Parcells, but frankly, he scares me.

Saban: Rogers does 'nice job' in Miami tryout
DAVIE, Fla. (Sept. 13, 2006) -- Dolphins coach Nick Saban first met wide receiver Charles Rogers about a decade ago, when Rogers was a high school star in Michigan and Saban was at Michigan State.
They got reacquainted this week -- but there's no indication if the relationship will progress further.
Rogers, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2003 draft who was cut by the Detroit Lions on Sept. 2, visited the Dolphins during a scheduled off day for the team Sept. 12.
However, that workout apparently didn't prompt Saban to make a quick roster move: Rogers wasn't with the Dolphins when they resumed practice.
"I've known Charles Rogers since he was in the 10th grade, so I didn't have any new impressions of him," Saban said. "He's a big guy, he runs fast and he did a nice job in the workout. It was good to see him again."
Rogers did not return messages left on his cell phone.
Rogers played in 15 games and missed 33 during his three years with the Lions, who gave him a six-year contract.
His rookie year started in fine fashion, with him leading the Lions with 22 catches for 243 yards and three touchdowns through five games. But his season ended with a broken right collarbone -- and the same injury in the 2004 season-opener sent him to injured reserve.
In 2005, Rogers was suspended for four games for violating the NFL's substance-abuse policy, ending the year with only 14 catches for 197 yards and one touchdown. The Lions cut him in camp, saying they were unhappy with his work ethic.
"When we bring guys in, we're evaluating not only for right now but also for the future and how we can help make our team better if on some occasion in the future we need to improve ourselves relative to any circumstance that can come up," Saban said. "It's no more or no less than that."

I'd welcome Charles Rogers to the team. We have a ton of WRs as it stands (Chambers, Booker, Welker, Hagan) but he might be worth a shot. I see him landing somewhere with more WR problems where he could contribute more...perhaps Tampa Bay?

Broncos, Vikings And Dolphins Talk To Quincy Morgan
Denver Post - The Broncos are among several teams to have spoken to the agent for kick returner/wide receiver Quincy Morgan. Morgan's agent, Brian Overstreet, said he has spoken to Broncos general manager Ted Sundquist this past week. Overstreet has talked to the Dolphins and Vikings as well.
Sure why not.

Culpepper has hard time waiting
DAVIE -- Daunte Culpepper is experiencing the downside to being showcased last week in the NFL's annual Thursday night regular-season opener.
A 28-17 loss to Pittsburgh is forcing Culpepper and his Miami Dolphins teammates to wait three extra days before having the chance to rebound Sunday against visiting Buffalo.
The 10-day stretch is especially long for Culpepper, whose two fourth-quarter interceptions helped doom the Dolphins.
"In the NBA, if you don't have a game like you want, you [usually] have one day until you play again," Culpepper said Wednesday. "In the NFL, you have to wait. The thing is, we've got time to prepare and work on the mistakes we made."
For Culpepper, that means avoiding the kind of errors that marred the quarterback's first regular-season game following a major knee injury suffered almost 10 months earlier while playing for Minnesota. Although he had some nice throws, Culpepper's 18-of-37 passing performance was admittedly marred by poor mechanics and timing with his wide receivers.
"You've got to put your feet in good position to throw correctly and be accurate," said Culpepper, whose completion percentage of 48.6 was much lower than his career average of 64.1.
"Sometimes I felt like I was rushing a little bit for whatever reason. That was really the first time I got a chance to play at that speed for a full game [since the injury]."
Culpepper also is building a rapport with his receiving corps.
"We were off a little bit here and there, but we're working really hard on that," wide receiver Marty Booker said. "We know all that's going to come as far as timing and getting that chemistry. It doesn't happen overnight."
But two other aspects of Culpepper's performance were alarming.
Culpepper allowed that he might have been pressing when throwing the interceptions, which critics cited as one of his recurring flaws in Minnesota. Culpepper said he didn't see Joey Porter had dropped into coverage instead of blitzing on the errant pass that the Steelers linebacker returned 42 yards for the game-sealing touchdown with 2 minutes, 59 seconds remaining.
"It's important to get the execution and not put so much pressure on yourself because of expectations," said Dolphins Coach Nick Saban, whose team only trailed by four points before Porter's score. "You think you have to do more than what you really need to do. If you play within yourself and be effective at your position, good things are going to happen."
Culpepper also was unable to get wide receiver Chris Chambers involved in the offense during the first half. All five of Chambers' catches came in the second half as he struggled to shed the tight coverage of Steelers cornerback Ike Taylor.
"I had a couple of opportunities in the second quarter to get involved," Chambers said. "They know since I've been around, when I get the ball early in my hands, I usually have a pretty good game, and I'm able to make some plays."
Chambers should have that opportunity against Buffalo -- and not just because he caught a franchise-record 15 passes for 238 yards in last December's 24-23 comeback victory against the Bills.
Buffalo (0-1) could be starting rookie safeties in Donte Whitner and Ko Simpson with Troy Vincent (hamstring) placed on injured reserve Wednesday and Matt Bowen (shin) not practicing. Like Bowen, standout linebacker Takeo Spikes also missed the session because of a hamstring injury and is listed as questionable.
"Personally, Sunday can't get here quick enough, because I want to get out and just play winning football the way I know how to play," Culpepper said.

Well, the Texans game topped the Bills game somehow. Unless the fins somehow beat the Pats this week, stick a fork in this season, folks. :S

I actually expected the dolphins to be good this year but i was obviously wrong cuz they suck. Especially that lost to the Texans last week. I pretty much knew they were gonna lose today against the Pats. But yea their season is definitely over.

I thought they Fins would finish like 8-8 or 9-7 this year.
They're looking really bad, though...
