We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. You can also visit the original MagicMadness Forum at http://orlandomagic.proboards.com.

Drafting Marbury + Foyle = Championship. \o/
|
I'm not saying we should be trying to get him at all nor we should be saving any capspace for him... What I'm saying is that, when is contract is over, and IF we have any capspace, and IF he accepts to come here with the MLE, then... why not? ![]() But that is obviously not going to happen... he'll be searching for a big contract... |

TMac is signed up to 2010. http://hoopshype.com/salaries/houston.htm I think by the time his contract is up, he will be an old man in walking sticks. With a chronic bad back like that. Am not a hater. I love his game. But I don't think any of our plans should involve him. |

That was the main reason why I wasn't sure whether or not McGrady was hinting at something. It sounds like he is, but with him and his contract tied up with the Rockets for so long, I knew he couldn't possibly mean the Magic would pursue him in 2007. It sounds more like he's just giving the Magic props. That's it. |

they pay a dollar in luxury tax for every dollar they are over the cap. they spend a ton of money bringing in huge contract players and still suck. the thing about being over the cap is paying the other teams in who are under the cap money. whichever teams are under the cap get the money from the teams who pay luxury tax. im almost positive thats correct. |

Can't compare Francis to TMAC TMACs magic made the playoffs 3 times with a very average roster. Stevie is more interested in going to the superbowl. He'll fit nicely in the Knicks, playing one-on-one with Marbury. I can imagine the knicks playing 4-6 whenever one of them has the ball. |
