Props to Otis for getting Darko. Could be huge for this team down the road.

we truly do deserve every minute of it for taking all the ridicule of people thinking that we suck and cant do it without shaq or tmac... but now people realize our team is great and we have a budding superstar and all star in dwight howard. so half of our "double-D" partership is a great player, now we just need to keep putting darko in for like 20 min a game and just feed him the ball. he wil be just fine, IMO.

I just hope the curse is finally over...we finally have some legit big men and their young too. I remember when we had Danny Shayes starting some games, times were bad lol. We payed our dues, it would be nice to see this team pull off another 16 wins atleast of the last 28 so they can have something to build on going into next season.

Good point, I'd like us to finish at least at .500, and maybe we'll find a way to squeeze that last playoff spot in JUST MAYBE.. If we keep playing like we did last night against Seattle, even if we dont make it to the postseason it will be a huge confidence builder going into next season. But i dont like talking about next season when this season is still here. I love these guys. Im from Jersey and I watch every game, if I dont get to watch it live i tape it from League Pass <----- Best invention ever!!! lol

I dont think we'll finish at .500 and maybe squeeze a playoff spot. Im not trying to sound negative or anything cuz I know we have a rejuvenated team but theres no way we can make the playoffs. The rest of the season is just for experimenting with Darko, Arroyo and Ariza. I think its too late for us to go on a playoff run. We're 14 games below .500, I think thats too big a hole. :(

And, Tony, I don't want to sound to optimistic, but I don't think there will be much experimentation needed for the three new kids. They are smart people and I know Coach Hill, is, so they will learn to work with each other pretty quickly.

I am hoping to get up to 500% and if they do, we might just snag a playoff spot.

A lot of this also depends on Grant Hill. We know that Dwight will do great and there are others, and we get a couple of top players back soon, I have heard.

Keep the good thoughts.

Guys...lets be realistic here. Remember that we're in rebuiliding mode, and even though we won last night, it was against a team with just as bad a record of us, who only dressed seven players. Finishing the season at .500 would mean going 21-7 the rest of the way...that's Spurs/Mavs territory. Not going to happen.

I think the best we could hope for is to play .500 ball from here on out, but I doubt that'll even happen. I'm going to predict a 12-16 record to finish out the season, with a 32-50 record overall. Hopefully, that'll be just bad enough for a top 5 pick.

Howard is a budding superstar, but Milicic is still unproven. He looked impressive last night, but impressive does not equal superstar. I am excited to see how he continues to play for the rest of the season, and hopefully by next year he'll be ready for the starting lineup.

I am tired of being realistic. The Magic will win the next 14 games to get to .500.

The reason I'm saying be realistic is that stupid old Brian Hill won't play Travis Diener. If he gave him at least 10 minutes a game, then yes, I could definitely see the Magic winning their next 14 games.

If he gives Diener (THE FUTURE) at least 10 minutes, we would be blowing out teams....EASY  :haha:

Well, we have to keep it fair now. Come on. We could be 54-0 right now if Diener played. Just shows you the class of the Magic organization to keep the games fair.

I actually think we would have found a way to win more games than scheduled if Diener played.

I too am taking a 'wait and see approach with Darko and Howard, but so far so good :)
