We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. You can also visit the original MagicMadness Forum at http://orlandomagic.proboards.com.

"Nothing has changed. Darko still blames other factors for his inactivity." "the Magic will discover what the Pistons reluctantly learned before trading him last week. Darko has an unyielding sense of entitlement that will prevent him from fully taking advantage of his physical gifts. He equates playing time with something gift-wrapped under a Christmas tree." "It's time for Darko to grow up, sack up and maybe wise up. He still holds a grudge against the Pistons for how he thinks they treated him." "If anything, Darko's problem is that he has become too Americanized. A concern remains that Milicic lacks motivation to push himself beyond the fruits already won from being the second pick in the 2003 draft. It's still easier to blame somebody else for his shortcomings." Full story http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article...320/1048/SPORTS Lets hope its not true, or if parts of it are, lets hope Darko grows up and earns a spot rather than think it should be given to him. |

Did anyone read the whole article? It really pisses me off at the end AND it shows that this is nothing but a homer piston article. It says "isnt there a local law stating the Magic are not allowed to make a deal with Joe Dumars?" They wont admit that the Magic killed them in that trade. The guy was pretty angry because everyone thought the Magic made the better deal, so he says we are all "sniffing too much of Tinker Bells pixie dust". Haha, very funny. To sum things up, this article took any quote it used out of contest, and was meant to simply bash Orlando to make themselves feel better about getting owned by Otis Smith. |

What a juvenile article. Sounds like a kindergarten student wrote it, yelling "Pistons rock, and Darko is poop!" |

That "reporter' is trying to poison the fans minds down here after he decided that he needed to go 'the extra mile' to attempt to justify the Pistons trading Darko. I say, "if both teams are happy, the trade is successful. Both got what they wanted, didn't they". So why feel the need to keep bad feelings going. I did notice, as well, that we got another Brown reject who was treated somewhat shabbily. Maybe we shoud thank him for creating these players who feel the need to play harder and justify their existence in the NBA. And the Magic will benefit. |
