We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. Otis Smith is suddenly a genius!!! Dave Twardzik on the other hand..... I cant paste the link, but the New York Post reported we tried to move Garrity and the rights to Fran Vasquez's. THERE is our indication that the GMs have given up on Fran. |

What the heck is going on? Suddenly we have a competent GM! Two very good trade moves in a row, very impressive. |

I think Otis took over the GM spot and our team has been doing great. The Magic should just name him GM as he already is handling almost all of the job. |

No, Otis didn't completely take over the GM spot, he's just the face of our GM team. He's the one that's working with our talent while Dave is doing all the behind the scenes stuff, like making sure Otis's decisions make financial sense and stuff like that. If they continue to work this well together, they might start a Co-GM movement in sports. I think that the simple fact that Otis only worries about the talent is the reason he was able to pull off these trades. |

I have said the same thing on my post on another thread. I really think we should just give the GM job to Otis. Dave Twardzik should only be an assitant and should not be involve in any future scouting and decision in picking up for us in the draft. |

I'm waiting for Dave to get demoted to Assistant GM or more like International Scout. ![]() Otis needs some votes for Executive of the Year.
