Did anyone else see the big kool aid smile dwight had on his face after those passes from Carlos. He's going to score so much easier now. So is everyone else. |

Dwight never expected to get those sweet passes from Carlos. ![]() Jameer may be out, but Carlos is MORE than capable of being starter.

I think Jameer would have to win the job back this summer (sucks for him). I really expect Carlos to kick a** once he takes the job from Dooling (who played very well last night).

It seems that the Magic are building a very fast team with Arroyo, Ariza and Darko. Even if the team doesn't make to the semi-finals for sure it would be fun to watch! |

Guys lets not get carried away. Arroyo is a nice back up PG for us. Once Nelson is healthy, he is the starter. There isn't even a question about it. |

Arroyo has proven that he can be a starter on this league and that he plays better when he is given a lot of minutes. If Arroyo does a great job, I dont think you cut his minutes when Nelson comes back. |

Drafting Marbury + Foyle = Championship. \o/

Sorry n_cruz69, I know Arroyo is a good player, but the future of the Magic is with Nelson at the point. I hope Arroyo fans understand this (and as soon you see Jameer play regularly I'm sure you'll understand ).This doesn't mean that Arroyo won't get many minutes... even with Nelson starting, Arroyo will get at least 25 min/game for sure (and not only I expect it, I also hope so!!)... The only problem I see for having the backcourt shared by Jameer and Arroyo at the same time for some minutes during games is the lack of height... |

Arroyo has the height at the PG position. He is listed as 6'2". I have to agree with the other posts. Nelson has to earn his starting spot when he comes back. |

Yeah, I know Arroyo has the height to be at the point, but if Jameer is playing at the same time, obviously he has to be the point (only 6-0) and move Carlos to SG... and a 6-2 SG combined with a 6-0 PG would be small IMO... |

Arroyo is not an SG. He is a "true PG". So if any of the two has to play SG, it has to be Nelson. I guess it would be interesting to see this two battle for the starting spot. |

But, that would be even worse! Or in other perspective: if Arroyo is a pure PG (and I'm not saying he's not), how do you define Nelson? Nelson is also a pure PG! Maybe not as much of a pass-first PG like Arroyo, but nonetheless he's a pure PG! And would you want to see a 6-0 SG in the team? I certainly don't! So, unless we're playing against a short backcourt, we shouldn't bring Arroyo and Nelson together that often! |

Yeah. I don't think that we can have them on the floor at the same time since they essentially play the same position. I guess we are going to have to wait until Nelson is back to see what happens on our PG situation. But if we have to good/great PG on the team it wouldn't hurt. It would actually be a luxury. The only problem is Nelson has voiced his desire to start. But I think he should be the one closing the game. He was very effective in the 4th. On thing is sure though, BHill has his work cut out for him. |

Agreed ![]() And you're absolutely right when you say all we have to do is wait untill Nelson gets back to see what happens. Anyway, I feel good (great indeed) about having both of them as PG's and having Diener as backup! |
