Nets inquired about Tony Battie

One team that might be in building mode -- Orlando -- could use draft picks, and the Magic also have a spare big man since the acquisition of Darko Milicic last week. But when the Nets inquired about Tony Battie, a team official disclosed, they were informed that the Magic fully intend to re-sign the free-agent center, and that he is not available even for multiple draft picks.

Mr. Anderson
Good to hear that. We need soldiers like Battie on the team.

Plus, I believe it's clearly stated in the CBA that it's illegal to trade super heroes, unless you get a super hero back in return.

Batman for Superman would be nice. :wow: 8-)
