Maybe Brian Hill didnt want Milicic and Arroyo to get attached to too many players, with the trade looming.

What am I talking about, this makes no sense.

If we were like winning, I would buy that. But we are almost out of the playoffs, it wouldn't hurt to play them. Darko did well. But he averaged more minutes in Detroit than that.

I understand what you are saying, but if they dont know how to run certain plays, why put them in? It wouldnt make sense to put them in just for the sake of getting them on the floor, if they dont know what exactly what to do.

Arroyo might be an exception since he has been around a little while, but Milicic, there is no need to rush it. Even if he doesnt get alot of minutes the next couple games, he is gonna still gonna have over 25 games left to play in.

CLEVELAND (AP) -- LeBron James rebounded from a poor-shooting first half and finished with 26 points to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 105-92 victory over the Orlando Magic on Tuesday night.

James made six consecutive shots late until missing a meaningless attempt in the final seconds of Cleveland's third straight win.

Dwight Howard had 23 points and 14 rebounds for the Magic, which lost its seventh straight and 11th of 12. Orlando plays six of its next eight games on the road.

Zydrunas Ilgauskas had 24 points and 13 rebounds and Sasha Pavlovic a career-high 21 points for Cleveland.

Two days after becoming the youngest All-Star game MVP in history, James made only four of his first 17 shots. Still, he still brought the sellout crowd of 20,562 to its feet with several dazzling behind-the-back passes and one 45-foot shot that went in but didn't count.

The fans chanted "M-V-P, M-V-P," midway through the third quarter when they thought their hero was robbed of a 3-pointer from near midcourt.

With Magic forward Hedo Turkoglu lying crumpled along the baseline with an apparent knee injury, Orlando players went to foul James to stop the clock. James, one step over the midcourt line, banked in a shot officials ruled off, not allowing the continuation play.

After Turkoglu limped to the bench, Ilgauskas scored on a dunk for an 88-74 lead.

Magic guard Steve Francis, the key figure in a rumored multiplayer trade with the New York Knicks, scored 13 points in 27 minutes.

Before the game, coach Brian Hill said only that the Magic will continue "to look for any moves that can improve our team," before Thursday's trading deadline.

Hill said Darko Milicic, the No. 2 draft pick behind James in the 2003 draft acquired Feb. 15 with guard Carlos Arroyo from Detroit, will be given an opportunity to play -- but only after the third-year center learns the system.

Milicic had two points in four minutes and Arroyo was scoreless in five minutes.

James had three shots rattle in and out early, but still made an impact in the first half. In a 20-second span, he threw a crisp pass that Pavlovic turned into a 3-pointer, stole the ball near midcourt and went in for a breakaway reverse slam. That sparked Cleveland on an 8-0 run to a 44-34 lead.

The Cavaliers led at the break 46-40.

No Cleveland reserve scored until Donyell Marshall hit a 3-pointer with 2:39 remaining in the third quarter that gave the Cavaliers a 69-56 lead.

Notes

Cleveland has won seven straight and eight of the last nine meetings with the Magic. ... All fans got wild red curly wigs resembling the hairstyle of Cavs F Anderson Varejao and were encouraged to wear them. ... Varejao had two points in nine minutes. ... Francis shot 3-for-6 and has hit only 22 of his last 66 shots from the field over six games.

Arroyo was outstanding in the little minutes he played!!! He made Dwight Howard look like Shaquille O'neal. Not even knowing the game schemes, he came out and moved the ball and made the Magic look like if they were on the same page.

I think if Arroyo would've come in earlier in this game, it would've been a better contest at the end.

Same goes for Milicic...they should've put him in the whole 4th quarter!

Absolutely right, did you see the behind the back pass by arroyo to howard?.... promising

I think it's no longer a question of whether Francis will be traded, he HAS to be traded. Did you see how disinterested he looked tonight?

Ugh!!! This game was winnable with Arroyo in the lineup! Did you notice when Arroyo came in and started throwing those awesome passes and made Howard look awesome?...Francis looked like he was gettin' intrgued! Well, too bad for Francis, cuz he won't get to see Arroyo's awesom execution too much...not until he plays against the Magic.

I dont know, thats just the way I see it going, IF thats the case. If it isn't, then I dont see the reason in Darko only getting 3 minutes.

what did i say? i said darko would get like 5 points and 2 boards. i was closer than any one else. i knew he wouldnt get significant minutes and he wont untill he learns more plays and goes to more practices. overall great game by howard and nice comback. i didnt see the end i just saw when they came back from like 15 points down and it was 90 - 97. but howard is a monster and we need to dish steve-o quick and start arroyo. from what i heard and from what little of the game i saw, arroyo had nice passes and played well.

He played great! and he even tried to help our team win, but he was given an almost impossible task. We were down too much and there's this player on the other team that has been pretty good lately. They call him King James.

Maybe you are right NYC. BHill probably does not want Darko to look bad out there in his first game in Magic uni. But 3 minutes?
