We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. I thought about conducting a poll to see whether you guys would like to keep our team the way it is, or do some trades. -But with our team playing the way it is now, THAT question is pretty obvious. -So before the trade deadline, which players would you guys be willing to part with in favor of gaining some new talent to bolster our team? |

I would be willing to trade everyone except for Howard and Nelson if it brought us better talent. I am nervous about trading Francis because I dont think that we will get ample compensation for him. If we could trade Hedo, Garrity, or Cato for anyone that could help our team, I would jump on it. My prediction: Otis Smith remains useless and we don't do any deals. |

Eh, I regret writing that last part, because Otis Smith seems like a nice enough guy. Still, I would love to see this team torn up in favor of one that could either pack a punch now or one that could be in a rebuilding mode. It seems like we are just sorta stuck in neutral. |

On the roster right now, I would part with: Augmon Cato Garrity(even though I have always liked him, Hedo could pick up the 3 point slack) Kasun Morris Diener I would want to keep Hill in a Magic uniform until he decides to retire. He is a leader on the court and most likely in the locker room to. He is the kind of level headed veteran we need on this team to keep things in check. Also, its not like he isnt producing. The guy can still play. |

I would part ways with Hill, Garrity, Kasun Diener, Frans Rights, Hedo, Cato, Battie, Morris, Outlaw. Like b&b said we probablly wouldn't get equal value for steve. I don't know why, but we wouldn't. If we could though I would trade him for a SG, Draft and sign bigs in the offseason. |

i would drop these guys except garrity. hes more of a reliable 3 pt shooter than hedo. garrity has the history with the magic as hitting clutch shots and big shots in games. i really dont think they would trade garrity anyway. i think they would deal hedo before garrity. and i know garrity sucks on defense but the real reason hes on the court is for offense. and i would want to keep kasun if he starts playing better. because if we trade him a cato then we will be the shortest team in the nba. we need some tall players. we better do good in drafting this season. who should we look to draft, what position? im thinking a center and a shooting guard. because at PG we have steve and jameer, and at SF we have grant, and PF is dwight. so if we wanna draft other guys it will just be backups. and also this seasons draft is supposed to be a not very good one so thats not too good. |

The only problem is, he's not scoring. Turk is a better all around player offensivley. Teams have to do one thing to stop Garrity, Make him put the ball on the floor. Turk is more versitile. He can shoot the 3 and drive to the basket. In order for a guy to be put in for offensive purposes, he has to be able to score. He's just too easy to shut down. and he's hasn't been shooting at a high percentage as of late. |

are you crazy???? Every game winning 3 point attempt from Garrity that I have ever seen was a brick. I would throw a party if Garrity got traded. He might be a good guy and all, but if your ONLY job is to shoot 3's and you're not even in the top 50 in the league in 3 point %, your a** should be fired |

im just saying, the last two years garrity's stats have declined. I cant understand why we have gotten rid of every player over the last 3 years but for some odd reason we keep this bum. |

I think Garrity is one of those guys who is super streaky, and like Francis, would get nil in return for him as far as trade value. Honestly, I dont see any other team wanting a player on our team besides Francis and Howard. I haven't heard any speculation involving trades besides those two. THAT is a major problem. |

When Deiner gets playing time, then maybe I'll put his name in my Voacabulary, Until then, I'm not going to get rid of steve freakin Francis and keep Deiner. AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT SAW THE PG RANKINGS HERE? STEVE IS IN THE TOP 10 WHAT THE FLYING f**k IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE. I CAN UNDERSTAND HOWARD, BUT DEINER, HAVE YOU EVEN SEEN HIM PLAY ENOUGH AT THIS LEVEL TO KNOW THAT HE'S "THE FUTURE" OF A FRANCHISE. THE GUY CANT EVEN BREAK ROTATION. I LIKE ROOTING FOR THE LITTLE GUY, UNDERDOG WHAT EVER YOU WANT TO CALL HIM, BUT THEN THERE'S THIS THING CALLED REALITY AND IF DEINER WAS GOING TO MAKE OR BREAK A FRANCHISE WE WOULD HAVE SOME INDICATION BY NOW. |
