With Grant Hill returning to form, the Orlando Magic hope to take advantage of the league-worst Toronto Raptors when they begin a season-high six-game homestand.

Hill scored 28 points in his second game of the season Friday, a 109-103 loss to the Dallas Mavericks.

Hill, who missed Orlando's first 19 games following surgery for a sports hernia, scored seven points during a 10-2 run, and his three-point play with 1:06 remaining pulled the Magic even at 93. He missed a 14-footer with 25 seconds left in regulation, though, that could have given Orlando the lead.

"That was a good team and we played them well," said Hill, who has struggled with injuries in his six seasons with the Magic. "We have to learn how to win these types of games."

Hill also had six rebounds, three assists and two steals in 37 minutes Friday, but had to take himself out of the game twice because he was winded due to his lengthy layoff. He played just 23 minutes and scored seven points in his season debut Wednesday, a 105-90 victory over the New York Knicks.

Hedo Turkoglu added 17 points Friday and Steve Francis had 16 for the Magic, who have won two of three overall since losing a season-high five straight. Orlando has won four of six at home.

Magic forward Dwight Howard has recorded a double-double in six straight games, averaging 15.7 points and 14.2 rebounds in that span. He is among the league leaders with 17 double-doubles this season.

Toronto opens a four-game road trip after suffering its sixth straight home loss, 107-80 to the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday. Chris Bosh had 22 points for the Raptors, who committed 18 turnovers that led to 23 points for the Sixers.

"We are not getting it down. It's an embarrassment. We lost by 30 points at home," said Jalen Rose, who had two points in 12 minutes off the bench.

Toronto, a league-worst 4-20, has won three of its last four road games.

The Raptors placed rookie point guard Jose Calderon, who averages a team-high 6.4 assists, on the inactive roster Sunday, and activated forward Eric Williams, out since Nov. 11 with a sore right knee.

The teams have split the last 16 meetings in the series, but Orlando has won eight of the last 11 games at home.

If the team plays down to the Raptors, yes. Three of Toronto's four wins this year have come on the road...

Dwight Howard = MVP
I think the raptors are gonna get killed. I know we're a better team and that we can win against a sorry team. But we still cant under estimate them.

We must not give the Raptors any ideas that they can steal one from us tonight. Right from the get-go, we should dominate them.

Howard vs Bosh will be a pretty good battle.

Go Magic!

Man...I can see why Toronto is 4-20!! They are missing everything!! Even at the Free Throw line!! No excuse not to win tonight!!! Especially since we already have a double digit lead!

We should finish this team early. So far our bench has been pretty cold.

Coach Hill should chew on them in the locker room to remind them that they should be way ahead at this point already.
