NOTE FROM THE FORUM OWNER:

We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. You can also visit the original MagicMadness Forum at http://orlandomagic.proboards.com.

Special thanks to our Staff Members: Black and Blue, MAGICMANEVAN, and NYCMagicFan!

WHERE: TD Waterhouse Centre.

RECORDS: Spurs 13-3; Magic 7-9.

BROADCASTS: TV -- WRBW-Ch. 65. Radio -- 580 AM (WDBO); Spanish-language radio -- 1030 AM (WONQ).

MAGIC UPDATE: After back-to-back losses on the road Friday and Saturday, the Magic were back practicing Sunday at the RDV Sportsplex, although there was little or no physical contact. Although both SF Hedo Turkoglu (flu) and PG Steve Francis (bruised shoulder and ribs) missed Saturday's loss to the Bucks in Milwaukee, both practiced Sunday and are expected to return to action tonight. Also practicing with the team Sunday was SF Grant Hill, although he has yet to scrimmage since his hernia surgery Oct. 31.

SPURS UPDATE: As the defending NBA champions, the Spurs had a light training camp and went half-speed through the exhibition schedule, but they have started the regular season strong. They have won their past three -- against the Lakers, Mavericks and 76ers. Manu Ginobili (15.1 points per game, 4.9 rebounds and 1.57 steals per game) has missed the past two with a sprained right ankle but is expected back tonight.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR: The Magic, still searching for their identity and trying to get healthy this season, have not played well defensively the past two games, both lopsided losses on the road. A visit by the Spurs should perk up their interest, but they might not be strong enough to slow Tim Duncan (20.4 ppg, 11.9 rpg) and Tony Parker (20.0 ppg, 5.7 assists per game).

Dudes, I wish this game was not tonight, the team is half-healthy, unless the Magic perform "a rabbit out of a hat trick" there is no  chance to win.

As a last resort, why not use Diener and Jameer for a 3 point shooting spree and see what happens? (probably loose anyway) :( But I hope they prove me wrong.

Let's... ... go .... ... Magic.....

This is the last game without Highlights. I GUARANTEE they will be back for Wednesdays game vs Chicago.

But if we continue playing like we did the last couple games, I dont know if you guys would really want highlights anyway!

No, I do not...

The best I can tell you is to try that Turkish TV link from the other thread, and if that doesn't work, try downloading the SopCast program and looking for the game on there.

When it gets closer to game time I'll try some links and report back here. But those are two good options, one of them might work.

Drafting Marbury + Foyle = Championship. \o/
Strangely enough, I'm happy for not having the chance of watching tonight's game.

However, I'd love to wake up tomorrow, go watch the scores and say: "d*mn, I wish I'd seen that game ." :P

No chance whatsoever. And I never say that. A healthy team can compete with the Spurs in a one game setting, our JV team cannot. Hopefully Francis and Hedo can contribute even a little.

We did good in the 1st Quarter. I am not sure though for how long this battered team will hold up against the NBA Champs.

Dwight carrying the team in the 2nd. He should stay out of foul trouble for us to have a fighthing chance against the Spurs.

Wow, the only thing keeping us in the game is the offensive boards, impressive.

That 3 at the end screwed us bad. Still if you told me we would be tied at the half, I would have said you were crazy.

Just don't get blown out tonight.

Huge 1st half from Dwight. 10-10.

Horrible shooting but somehow we are leveled with the Spurs at the half. We have outrebounded them 30 - 21. Wow!

Watch the game on SopCast!

http://www.sopcast.org/download/SopCast_060.zip

If you don't already have it, download the program above. Look on the list of channels and you should see the Spurs-Magic game. Enjoy!
