Orlando Magic vs. Milwaukee Bucks

Posted Image vs. Posted Image

What: Regular Season Game #16
Where: Bradley Center
When: December 3, 8:30 PM
Broadcast: TV -- WRBW, Radio -- WDBO, Internet -- NBA League Pass

Mo Williams looks to build on his career-best performance and latest game-winning shot as the Milwaukee Bucks host the Orlando Magic.
Williams scored 14 of his career-high 35 points in the fourth quarter Friday, including a 3-pointer as time expired, to lead Milwaukee to its second win in a row, 105-102 over the Washington Wizards.

I got a good look," said the third-year guard, who entered Friday averaging 12.6 points per game. "It's 50-50, either you're going to miss it or you're going to make it. I was in a zone."

Williams shot 15-of-21 from the field, including 5-of-7 from 3-point range. His previous personal best was 23 points in the Bucks' 110-96 victory over the New Jersey Nets on Nov. 2.

Williams also hit a buzzer-beater from 29 feet to beat Indiana 103-102 on Nov. 12.

Jamaal Magloire had 17 points and 13 rebounds Friday for the Bucks, who will try for a season high-tying third straight win after losing five of their previous seven. Milwaukee opened the season 3-0.

Michael Redd, who averages a team-best 25.2 points per game, had 16 Friday after sitting out a 113-111 win over Dallas on Tuesday to rest a sore quad. The Bucks were still without forwards Bobby Simmons (ankle) and Joe Smith (knee) on Friday.

Orlando hopes to have scoring and assists leader Steve Francis back in the lineup Saturday.

Francis traveled to Washington early Friday for a second opinion on his bruised chest and left shoulder. He is expected to rejoin the Magic in Milwaukee, but his playing status is still uncertain.

Without Francis, who averages nearly 18 points per game, Orlando suffered a 91-69 loss at Memphis on Friday. Guard Jameer Nelson made his first start of the season in place of Francis and finished with four points and four assists in 35 minutes.

DeShawn Stevenson led Orlando with 22 points, making 10-of-14 from the field. Hedo Turkoglu scored 11, but hit only 4-of-13 shots for Orlando, which fell to 1-2 on its four-game road trip.

"I was disappointed in our energy," Magic coach Brian Hill said. "We were outplayed and outcoached from the beginning of the game until the end. If we don't play with high energy all the time, we won't play well."

The Bucks have won four straight, and 12 of their last 13 meetings with the Magic at the Bradley Center.

STANDINGS (through Dec. 2): Magic - 2nd place (tied), 2 1/2 GB, Southeast Division. Bucks - 4th place (tied), 4 GB, Central Division.

PROBABLE STARTERS: Magic - F Turkoglu, F Dwight Howard, C Tony Battie, G Stevenson, G Nelson. Bucks - F Andrew Bogut, F Redd, C Magloire, G T.J. Ford, G Williams.

TEAM LEADERS: Magic - Francis, 17.8 ppg and 6.2 apg; Howard, 12.7 rpg. Bucks - Redd, 25.2 ppg; Magloire, 10.1 rpg; Ford, 7.3 apg.

2004-05 SEASON SERIES: Bucks, 2-1.

LAST MEETING: April 16; Bucks, 113-103. At Milwaukee, the Bucks led by as many as 24 in the fourth quarter.

ROAD/HOME RECORDS: Magic - 3-4 on the road; Bucks - 4-2 at home.

We can win this one, but with Francis out I doubt it will happen.

I don't see us getting blown out like last night, but sorry guys, neither Diener nor Nelson are in the same league as Steve-O. I just hope the players aren't thinking about that home date against the Spurs...

McGrady and Howard... What could have been
Loss by 30, and even with Francis. We would still lose, Michael Redd and T.J. Ford already cause Problems. But with Simmons, Williams, Maiglore and Bogut. We just get run out of the building

I make absolutely no predictions for the next 10 magic games. This team is completely unpredictable.

i think we can win it, dwight will have the worst first half of his career with 0 points and 0 rebounds and 5 fouls then in the 2nd half he will get 40 points and 40 rebounds ande it will become the best game of his career

Lol, how bad can it be? Hedo is not playing toight because of a virus (flu?)

How great our lineup will be:

Battie
Dwight
Pat / Augmon
DeShawn
Jameer

With the amazing bench, consisting of:
Morris
Diener
Cato
Pat / Augmon
Kasun

If we win tonight, I will kiss my own a** !

No we are not.

If we get it to 10 or less at the half we are in great shape.

When i posted we were. It was like 27 - 43. We had been stuck on 27 for a while. The score at half time is decent however.
