Nah, I wouldn't say they're the biggest joke in the NBA, that's a bit of a stretch. The Hawks are more of a joke for example. |

Are you kidding me? Have you ever heard of the LA Clippers? We've had a rough streak lately, but there are much worse teams. Teams that have fallen into a constant state of irrelevancy. We aren't that bad yet. |

No team has failed as much as we have? Are you serious? Between 1992-2003, we had eleven straight seasons of .500 or better ball, 8 playoff appearances, two division titles, an Eastern conference title, and an NBA Finals appearance. We were one of the more successful teams of the '90s, and then we came one game away in 2003 of taking down the #1 seeded Pistons in the first round. Since the drafting of Shaq, we've had the tremendous luck of having an all-star type of player on our team virtually every season, whether it was O'Neal, Hardaway, McGrady, Hill, or now Francis and Howard. Teams like the Warriors, Hawks, Clippers, etc. would kill to have the type of successes we've had over the past 16 seasons. So our #11 pick isn't going to play for us this season. Yes, it's a big deal to us, fans of the team, but other teams fans don't really care. Think about it, if it were another team other than the Magic that this happened to, Vazquez not playing for them, would you think it was that big of a deal? Probably not, you'd just shrug your shoulders and say that kind of sucks for them... Last season, we ended up with one of our best drafts ever, selecting Howard and Nelson who have ended up being tremendous for us. We reversed the failures of the season before by trading a disgruntled star and still increasing our win total by 15. Teams would kill to be as fortunate as that. I just don't understand why people could say we're a failure of a franchise, or that our team is a big joke. Magic fans are so used to being at least decent (and making the playoffs) so having two sub-par seasons in a row is making fans take things way out of proportion. |

I voted NO. We are still better than the LA Clippers and the Hawks. But it's kind of sad though that I can only name 2 teams (in a heartbeat) worst than us. I guess that says a lot too. |

Our team has a good mix of players, and I would even dare say better than at least half of the NBA teams. We just have poor management right now, and I am hoping it gets corrected sooner rather than later. |

I still don't get it though...do you mean we failed the most this offseason? Or over the last year? Either way, I think our failures get overblown by Magic fans, when in reality, non-fans of the team either don't know about our so-called failures or don't really care enough to consider us the "biggest failure" in the NBA. Trading Mobley wasn't a big deal, because we would have lost him this offseason anyways. Trading him for Christie, though, appears to be a failure (unless we were lucky enough to trade him off for talent). Drafting Vazquez and then losing him was stupid, but considering he wasn't expected to provide much help anyways makes the impact of that "failure" not so bad. What I'm trying to say is that a lot of Magic fans are overblowing things and acting as if we're the biggest joke in the league without really sitting down and thinking about how bad some other teams have been historically. The Clippers, Hawks, and Warriors, for example, haven't experienced the playoffs in at least a decade or more. Before last season, the Wizards hadn't won a playoff series in something like 20 years. That seems like a much bigger failure to me than the Magic not making the playoffs two years in a row...(especially since we're on the rise) |

Actually, I'd say the Clippers are better than we are now. They had a nice roster this past season but were plagued by injuries. And now there roster is even better since they've added Mobley. |

I just can't imagine that there is a GM worst than Elgin Baylor. Now, I am begining to think we found him (them). Or has Baylor finally "see the light". |

Well we were supposed to be on the rise like 3 years ago when T-Mac was here..... But we have to wait 3 years for Dwight and Jameer to Sprout... I still dont believe Dwight will not get the ball at all.... And the only way we can do that is if we trade Our player away.... We need him to grow to keep him on the Team... If we dont do that... Say Bye-Bye to Jameer and Dwight |

Dwight will get his shots. Especially now that Fran won't be playing and we haven't got any post player in the FA so we essentially have him as our only option on the post. |
