NOTE FROM THE FORUM OWNER:

We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. Guys keep in mind that a players contract maybe back loaded or front loaded.. I never do like to read what a player makes in one year, beacuse you need to see the full lengh of his contract to what he makes overrall and when he make the huge chunk of change durring the contract..

thats in football the NBA isn't the same, the reason Houston makes so much money is because the knicks signed him to a max contract and the max money a player can make depends on how many years he has been in the league so every year of a max contract a players salary goes up since he has been in the league longer...thats why KG is making 16 mill a year and guys like TMAC and Kobe are making 14 mill...but I heard that on Tmacs extension he's gonna end up going into the 17 mill ranger because he'll have more years in the league by then so his salary will go up accordingly
