NOTE FROM THE FORUM OWNER:

We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. You can also visit the original MagicMadness Forum at http://orlandomagic.proboards.com.

Special thanks to our Staff Members: Black and Blue, MAGICMANEVAN, and NYCMagicFan!

They predict us taking "Danny Granger", SF, out of New Mexico with the 11th pick.

Also, they have Hakim Warrick going 24th to the Rockets.

And about.com and insidehoops.com have us taking "Martell Webster", SG, out of High School.

This should be interesting. It could go either way, really. But I doubt the Magic know who they want to take just yet.

yeah but you cant go with the mock drafts. they dont look at the teams needs first. they just rank them how good they are.

no if you read in about the mock draft it says they dont look in to needs until after the season is over. do the playoffs count?

The NBADraft.net Mock Draft is a year round, continuosly updated projection of the NBA Draft.

While the NBA season is going on, the teams are projected in reverse order of record. Once the NBA season ends, the order of the teams from 15-60 are in place. After the May draft lottery, the official order of the draft is set.

The team needs are not factored into the mock draft until after the NBA season ends.

NBADraft.net has been the only site to project both the first and second rounds of the draft for the current and following year for the past 5 years.

Our projections are based on the opinions of the scouts that work for NBADraft.net, and the NBA and International scouts that we speak with.

A lot of guys' stocks keep falling and rising. I'm sort of hoping Deron Williams or Martell Webster will be available. If not, I'd actually go with Rashad McCants.

no way. they are projected to go way higher than 11th. possibly webster could be available but no chance with the others.

Not McCants. His value has dropped a WHOLE lot. DraftExpress.com has him at #33... so possibly we can get him in the second round!

its real hard to tell where players will go. especially looking at draft sites. because at nbadraft.net McCants is at #19. so its tough to go by sites. we will just have to wait it out, i guess.
