Seriously! I can't believe these two teams just keep blowing each other out at home. Pistons even the series with a 31-point victory, what's next?

Recap:

Quote:

ESPN - Yet again the home team was dominant, as the Detroit Pistons cruised to a 102-71 thrashing of the San Antonio Spurs to even the series at two.

"They really pressured us, and they didn't let us do anything on offense. We've got to find a solution," Spurs guard Tony Parker said.

Lindsey Hunter scored 17 points on 7-10 shooting and it was his stellar 3rd quarter, which put the game out of reach for the Pistons.

"We've got a lot of guys who can score. Tonight, Chauncey recognized I had it going, and like I said before the game, I still know how to put it in the hole a little bit," said Hunter, a 12-year veteran averaging just 3.3 points in the postseason. "My dad always taught me the only way you know if the next one is going in is to put it in the air. So I've always lived by that."

Larry Brown was very pleased with his squad's performance.

"We were phenomenal tonight," Brown said. "I really believe in all honesty this is the best game on a team I've been involved with at this level, this is they best we've played. This was a pretty special game."

Tim Duncan had 16 points and 16 rebounds, but shot 5-17 from the floor and sat beside Gregg Popovich during the final minutes of the game with a look of extreme dejection.

"I don't feel frustrated at all. There would be some other words that would be a lot more accurate," Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said. "It's disappointing that their physical play and their defense has taken us away from everything that we normally do."

The road team seems to forget how to play in this finals. It's not pretty to watch.

Is it just me, or is the Pistons announcer really, really annoying?

This is a very close game. 89 all, 16 seconds to go...Big Shot Bob, it's your show!

Good thing the game here has a Japanese announcer - he is just somewhat annoying -shreiks like a girl. Says "shooto" rather than "shot".

Still think the Pistons will take 2 of 3 at home and make the series go back to San Antonio where Spurs will take it in Game 6

AHEM! One game away from my prediction being true! ;)

Damn, that was a great game. What exactly would have happened if Rasheed's time-out was called? Since the Pistons didn't have any, would the Spurs get free throws?

I remember Webber doing the same thing back during an NCAA Championship game, but I don't know if the same rule in college applies to the NBA.

That was one of the dumbest move in NCAA. That was when they got beat by Grant Hill's Duke right?

McGrady and Howard... What could have been
That was the Greatest Game I have ever seen........

Rasheed wallace Choked at the end when he left Robert (Mr.Clutch) Horry........ Its over now man.......... like I said they win 1 game in Detroit and win game 6

Duncan Choked........ in Regulation............

Great Misses and Moments of the game:

The Score was 89-89 with 16.9 seconeds left in the game.......Ginobli Drived in the lane..... had a nice layup for Duncan to slam it down...... Then he missed the tip in which was stupid....

one of the Greatest moment Ever in NBA history:
94-95 Game spurs down....Ginobli gets the ball from the inbounds play with 7 seconeds in the game....... Passes it to Horry........ And hits One of the greatest shots, I think in the NBA's history..... with 5.9 seconds in the game..........

Get Your Thoughts out guys...... Is this one of the greatest Misses and Makes of All-TIme in NBA?

While I was watching the game, and Horry was dropping 3s I had the feeling the end-game will be involving him again. If that wasn't clutch I dont know what is.

Webber was at the game tonight, he must be contagious. He still choked at the end of the game. What the hell was he thinking when he left Horry wide open in order to trap Manu?!? Play those guys straight up!!!

Didnt he learn enough about Horry's heriocs as a Blazer? The way Horry was playing in the 4th and OT, I would have made sure not to leave Rob open under any circumstance.
