Go Spurs!

Just watched game 2 live. With Duncan playing hurt, its Manu's show. How could the Spurs drafted two of their main players in the 2nd round! And Bowen wasn't even drafted. Their management does not seem to do any mistake.

I say Spurs in 5 games.

Man...gotta admit, I'm surprised that either team has a 2-0 lead right now. I'm even more surprised that the Pistons lost by 20+ points tonight!

Recap:

Quote:

SAN ANTONIO (AP) -- The faintest of chants rang out midway through the fourth quarter as Manu Ginobili was hitting the foul shots that would repel Detroit's final charge.

``M-V-P, M-V-P'' shouted a handful of fans.

If this keeps up, it'll turn into a chorus. Because without a doubt, Ginobili has been the most valuable player in the NBA Finals thus far.

Playing at a much higher level than their opponent, the San Antonio Spurs sped out to a big early lead and frustrated the Pistons the rest of the way in a 97-76 victory Sunday night to take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.

Once again, the quickness and creativity of Ginobili was the one thing that stood out. But unlike in Game 1 when Ginobili took over all by himself in the fourth quarter, this time he did it earlier -- and received plenty of help.

``Of course you appreciate it, it's beautiful, but it's something none of us should be thinking,'' Ginobili said of the MVP chants.

Ginobili scored 27 points and had seven assists, while Tim Duncan was his usual efficient self with 18 points and 11 rebounds.

Throw in Tony Parker being a speedy complement to Ginobili's dashing exploits, Bruce Bowen's 3-point shooting from his favorite spot in the corner, along with Robert Horry's effort plays, and this one was all but over by the time the fourth quarter began.

McGrady and Howard... What could have been
That Was a Blow-Out, like I said Detroit is not a team that can handle the best Team in the league (Aka Spurs). Detroit feels like they are the Lakers, and can comeback and win 4 straight...... Like the Lakers did........ Detroit Fans..... You are not Lakers!!!!........ You cant Score 100 points to beat the spurs....... And if you did comeback I would give you guys props...... But now Detroit needs to score points to keep themselves in the series and play hard D..

Still think the Pistons will take 2 of 3 at home and make the series go back to San Antonio where Spurs will take it in Game 6

The Spurs are just showing how good they are - they can basically play any style. Their Kung-fu is that strong.

The Pistons so called defense is being shred by the awesome ball movement of the Spurs.

Now on to Game 4.

So far Tim Duncan has been average this series. He is now up his game a notch and show that he is the "best ever in his position".
