We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. Hedo joined a live TV show on Saturday on a Turkish TV channel. Below you can see some of his comments He said: On the injury the cast was removed and he is now trying to improve muscles around the wrist. In ten days he will recover fully. In the meantime, he will start training with a caoch from Italy. About Exit Interview: Weisboard thanked him for his performance and showing everyone that signing him was not a mistake. Weisboard told him that he is the part of the core group. ( Hedo laughed at this point and said that he heard exactly same things one week before he was traded to Spurs from Kings) About Team and his role: after playing for Sacramento (one of the best teams in sharing the ball) and Spurs (one of the best defensive teams), he sometimes struggled in MAgic. His role was defined as to produce points off the bench. During games, when he could not score, he was benched by the coach, even when he played good defense. About Francis and Hill he became good friends with Grant Hill and spoke highly of him. as Hill shares the ball well, he played very well when he is on the court. Even though Francis had incredible talents, he had problems in sharing the ball. In fact, his agent ( also Hill's agent), talked with Weisboard about this. About new coach: He does not think that Phil Jackson will join Magic. He thought that a defensive minded coach who can put his authority on the team is required. Even though JW did not tell him any names, he understands that Musselman is a high probability. |

Drafting Marbury + Foyle = Championship. \o/

Interesting stuff there.. Specially about Francis not sharing much the ball... I trust this guy a lot. Hedo has great talent and skills. He only needs to be more confident and consistent. I'm hoping Muss can teach him that

I think the most interesting part is the Musselman part. Hearing who the players want will play a big part in who we actively pursue |

francis not sharing the ball that much is a foregone conclusion,he's not a passer,he's a scorer, which is fine if he's hitting his shots, but when he's cold, problems come up. |

Mr. Anderson

He has been like that his entire career, I doubt he or anyone can change that now. The next coach must just be crafty enough to get the ball out of Francis hand as much as possible, without him complaining about it. It worked for awhile during the last portion of the last season - convincing Francis that it's for the good of the team is the key. |

Thats why its gonna be good next season when he moves to Shooting Guard. If he is not hitting his shots on a certain night, he wont be able to get the ball into his hands as much. |

well we knew that steve had a little bit too much "glue" on his hands but that can change with good coaching. i agree with the things ya said. he has great talenta and skills, true and he does need to be more confident and consistent. but all that can change with good coaching. true? well dont forget, many players on the magic want Chris Jent back. (but im not sure why) musselman would be much better. hey, sounds like a good idea!
