We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. Who's coming out of the East? Will Shaq win his fourth NBA title? Or will the offense-oriented Suns find a way to win in the defensive-minded playoffs?

Make your predictions, and talk about the games here, the official 2005 NBA Playoffs thread.

I really like Doc Rivers and PP so I hope Boston does well and I really like Washington with Gilbert, but I gotta go with what the brain says...

East
Detroit

I really like the Rockets, but we need more time to take a major step.. so anything over 2 wins in the first round is all gravy for me.. I also really like SA because they do everything with class, but I think overall it will be...

West
San Antoino

NBA CHAMPS San Antoino

East- Reggie and the Pacers

West-Amare and the Suns

Looks like T-Mac and the Rockets kicked some ass yesterday. I wouldnt be surprised if they win it all. That would be our luck. See Pistons

Rockets go up 2-0 on the Mavs.

I dont know if I want to see Tmac win. In the regular season, I had no problems with it. But now, that its the playoffs, every win brings him one step closer to a title and I dont know I could stand seeing him winning a title after leaving Orlando.

I dont even know if I want to see him get out of the first round. I;m kind of hoping that Mavs win 4 in a row now!

Mcgrady almost had a triple double last night. Houston is my pick out of the West. T-Mac's game has really expanded and I like Van Gundy as coach. Call me crazy but Houston is my dark horse.........

Tmac is really stepping up and leading the Rockets like a true superstar...even though I could'nt care about any teams in the playoffs cause the Magic aren't in it im pulling for Tmac a.k.a The Big Sleep to do well

Not recently!! Lost BOTH HOME GAMES to the Mavs and let them tie it back up 2-2. Anybody see Game 4? The way Tmac rebounded the missed Free throw and had the chance for the win, but had it knocked out of his hands from behind and he bobbled it out of bounds giving it back to Dallas.

Cant believe it he let that happen.

Nets and Grizzlies are gone now. There goes my pick for Nets in the finals!! I guess I will be rooting for Boston now because of Doc Rivers.
