McGrady and Howard... What could have been
|
Vs.![]() Orlando (35-44) at Milwaukee (29-50) Regular Season Game #79 Magic vs. Bucks When: Saturday, Apr 16th Where: The Bradley Center in Milwaukee Televison: Sun Sports Radio: 580-Am WDBO and 1030-AM WONQ The Magic in the Seconed year in a row not in the playoffs. So they are trying to finish the season of with some wins to bring momentum up the next season........ They have lost 6 in a row and trying to snap the losing streak.......... Even though they dont have anything to play for, They are tough to play in this kind of Situation. After the 40 point loss yesterday Vs. Chicago, they dont want the same situation and have an another blow out game While the Bucks are in the same situaton , But they were eliminated a long time before the magic. The Bucks have not been playing well lately, losing the last 4 games, but they could still pack a punch in the late stages in the season........... Micheal Redd leads the team in points...... But is a leading top free agent in the league next year Magic Players Francis, Steve Howard, Dwight Nelson, Jameer Stevenson, Deshawn Cato, Kelvin Battie, Tony Garrity, Pat Augmon, Stacey Barrett, Andre Hunter, Brandon Kasun, Mario Jones, Mark Magic Coach Chris Jent Bucks Players Redd, Micheal Mason, Desmond Smith, Joe Williams, Maurice Gadzuric, Dan Pachulia, Zaza Fizer, Marcus Kukoc, Tony Goldwire, Anthony Strickland, Erick Booth, Calvin Gaines, Reece Bucks Coach Terry Porter Prediction I think that the Magic Will Win the game 5 point win Francis with a good game. Magic 96 Bucks 91 Francis 17 points 4 rebounds 3 assist Desmond Mason 21 points 1 rebound 2 assist |

I think we'll find out alot of this team tonight. If they can't come out against an inferior opponent (after being beaten by 40 points in the previous night) and win or at least be competetive, then it says something about their character. |

Ok what's the deal with Francis? He better not be pulling a T-Mac style quit at the end of the season. |

Ok the Sentinel just put up an article for tomorrow's paper that said Francis sat this game out so he could try and finish out the season. So it's the exact opposite of what T-Mac did last year. Gold star for Steve

Tonight it could be due to only having 7 healthy players ![]() I think Cato just checked in for the first time, but he's nowhere near 100% No Francis and no Garrity tonight. So I take back all of what I said in my first post on here. The injury bug has hit us HARD. |

As good as Nelson and Howard have been playing, you're absolutely right. Francis may have been struggling as of late, but he still makes a big difference. And without him we're down to the bottom of the barrell tonight. |

Even though we're missing some players, its still pretty bad that we're losing to a team with a worse record than us. Just goes to show that we're going to need to be a deeper team next year... |

Missing SOME players would be nice. Tonight we are missing (from our full strength roster): Francis Hill Cato Turk Christie Garrity So if we get healthy, how much deeper do we need to be? |

Weisbrod acts like he dont like Chrisitie.......... SO it would seem that he would be traded during the off season |

Mr. Anderson
|
I'm glad that they are letting Howard take over now. Let him learn as much as he can for next season. I don't like their plan to make him a center though. I have to agree with Clifford Ray's assesment. Howard should be a "4". But it worked for Amare, maybe it will work for Howard too. |
