We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. You can also visit the original MagicMadness Forum at http://orlandomagic.proboards.com.

I will say this...Laimbeer would be pretty high-profile, a name associated with NBA greatness. He might be able to generate some good buzz in the Orlando area. I want to see what other names we go after, though. |

Anyone who is a defensive, organized coach is what we need. Our play is so sloppy, it is like bring the ball up and then do something random. That is why we are so damn turnover prone. I think the playbook consists of 3 plays max. Just get a guy in here who will get this organized and I will be happy. I want to see actualy offensive sets and defensive sets. I want to see a system in place, not this random crap. |

This might not sound right, but I totally agree here. TO ME keeping the organization in Orlando is more important to me than winning anything in the next few years. And seeing high profile people interested in the job is definately a good thing. And as Solid Snake said, who would be better suited to bring an defensive intensity to the team than one of the best defensive players in NBA history? Now I'm not saying he is the right guy for the job (I guess I'd still rather have Flip Saunders or Paul Silas), but I would be VERY excited if Laimbeer got the job. |

Mr. Anderson

Maybe Laimbeer would be a good defensive coach. If he agrees to be an assitant coach that is - which I doubt he will. |

Here is my top 5 1. Phil 2. Flip 3. Muss 4. Silas 5. B. Hill/Lambeer Skiles is in a contract dispute with the Bulls. If we throw enough money at him, maybe he'll come back here. |

Yeah the high profile coach is good, but the only way the magic will stay in ORL is if they WIN more,it solves everything.WIN more, more fans, more tv exposure, and the city will want to keep the team if they're winners. And if the current core can stay healthy next year then they could have a pretty good playoff run. |
