Howard should have got more touches?

In retrospect, do you think we should have gone to Dwight (and Nelson) earlier in the season? I remember reading an article where Howard's agent was kind of saying "told you so" in regards to how well he has been playing now and 'how he should have gotten more touches early on".

Maybe. The guy has scoring potential if you use him, and give him the ball more. I can see him being the next Duncan.

no he is much, much more explosive and athletic than duncan, but if he adds duncans fundamentals to his game, he will be twice the player duncan is. Plus he is gonna weigh alot more than duncan once he finishes bulking up. He could end up being a center because they say he might get up to 7 feet tall, but he would still have the game of a PF. I cant wait to see next season and watch him develop.

For a first year, this was okay. If we dont heavily increase his role in the lineup come next season, we are officially dumbasses.

I'm sorry but to say he is going to be bigger and twice the player Duncan is, is insane. I doubt he grows anymore most people are done growing at 18. I don't see Tim Duncan or Kevin Garnett in him. I do see some Shawn Kemp though.

I don't know about TWICE the player as Duncan.. that's a bit too far, lol

But I think he will be just as good

I doubt he ever becomes a 2 time MVP and have 2 Championships.

Right now he isn't even a top 50 player. Probably not even a top 15 power forward.

Next year he will be. He's gonna be an even more sick scorer and rebounder.

i said he wasnt like tim duncan , BUT IF he were able to master the fundamentals like duncan, he would be far better because he will be much stronger and he is alot more athletic. plus i have read that the doctors and team officials say he will grow another couple of inches...david robinson grew 6 inches in college

Yeah that's true, he's only 19, and he is still developing.

this kid is the only reason I'm watching the magic play now.I remember playing against the knicks some passed the ball to him and with two hands at thefree throw line he cock it back to half court and dunk it but miss it and the whole orena went crazy cause almost made it and it would been the dunk of the year. this kid is going bring us back to greatness in two to three year.

wow...what more do you expect...compare dwight to a rookie KG or Amare Stoudemire and I am perplexed that you could even assume that he won't be able to rise to the status of those guys considering how he is doing at JUST 19 YEARS OLD and with coaching that gives him limited touches, and he is definitely a top 15 PF
