We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. D-Flight will get the ball more next year. I know it's the typical Magic fan response, but I really think next year we will be a serious playoff contender.

Jent has done a good job of keeping our team focused and competing, considering the injuries. Damn...not saying I want him next year, but just think if he had been head coach all season long instead of Davis.

On another note, Stevenson's shot has really improved, but it seems like he's trying to force himself into the #1 option spot. I like his intensity, but I just don't like some of his shot selections. I see him being a player that will want a starting position next year, and if he doesn't get one, will want to be traded to a team that will give him the opportunity.

Nice effort from the guys. I guess the way we've played the past couple of games, the question does arise: Does Jent deserve to be the Head Coach next year? I say we need to go after a bigger name to try and get butts in the seats, but Jent has impressed me so far with the way the team is playing right now.

We pretty much thought of the same thing at the same time there :)

no way...we gotta make a run at flip saunders, a guy that preaches D and runs a nice offense...and we must dearly acquire some perimeter shooting...like really bad

Magic madness - I think he could definitely be a starter if he doesnt pick up steves bad habits (me 1st then me and then you) He has a tendency to be streaky but I think when he's on it's wonderful, (was it like 4 3's in a row tonight?) but he makes bad decisions. Maybe thats because of limited playing time. he needs more than anything a coach who can reign him in but then again so does steve

I agree we need Saunders. But I don't know if we can get him. Other than him who out there would really be an improvement over Jent?

Silas could be a good choice. If he would come to Orlando.

Phil would come only if he is in the mood to try and build a team. Which he could be. Hopefully he sees that we have enough talent to compete for championships in the East a little bit down the road. But I HIGHLY doubt he want to go anywhere else but a championship contender RIGHT NOW.
