We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. Well, this one looks like its over. Not a bad showing considering all of the injuries we have.

Stevenson currently has 29 points. Seriously, is he just going through a phase or is he legit?

Magic lose 114-105....Nets won to, so we are gonna fall back behind them. Tough loss tonight. We battled back to within 6 points numerous times, but the Mavs are just too tough

i think stevenson is an abberation...need a new sg this offseason, and the 3 pt shooting is the only thing that kept us from getting embarrased tonight...did I mention Tony Battie sucks

Well it was going to be tough to win this one anyways. A win tonight and a Sixers loss gets us right back in it. There's still time left to come back (even without Grant Hill). At least we seem to be playing better right now and we are fighting hard.

Imagine if JW didnt make the stupidist move of the offseason and we still had Gooden (15 points 9 boards a game) and Mr. Energy Anderson Varejao (have you guys seen him play???) :wow: :wow: Varejao by himself is better then Battie. But oh yeah, dont forget, Battie is a "great locker room guy", to bad the games are played on the court. X0 X0

well i dunno about gooden...i don't think he would have been effect w/out big minutes but varejao could have been a nice backup PF even though he sucks he plays hard and ACTUALLY catches rebounds instead of dropping them

Stevenson will probably be on this team next year considering he's still got 2 years left on his contract.Good amount of points he put up tonight, but the mavs don't have the greatest backcourt defenders in the league, finley is probably the best at d but don't know if he exerts his game that much considering they need his offense more.

Plus stevenson gets helped out by playing with francis and nelson.Teams will focus more on francis and plus defenders have been willing to give stevenson open jump shots.Which i don't understand why cause he hasn't shown any phenomenal ability to finish around the basket. He's getting better though, and his drives to the basket are still better than his j,but his finishing in the paint still isn't that good.Remember he's still only 23,so that means he's gonna be 24 next year.

And considering he came to the league out high school,he's going to have a good veteran understanding of the game.At least he should as long as he's not like Steven Hunter who was recommended for being tested for attention deficit symptoms for his lack of picking up plays. And that's true.I'm pretty much looking forward to next year, even if the magic get the eight seed, they're not going to beat the heat.
