We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. What: Regular Season Game #73
Where: The Meadowlands
When: April 2nd, 7:30 PM
Broadcast: TV -- MTN(UPN), Radio -- 580 AM (WDBO)

Magic Point of view
TOnight the magic MUST stop NJ from winning. If NJ wins, the magic are farther out of 8th. If they loose tonight they will now be in 10th because NJ will take 8th, Phill falls into 9th, and we are now 1 1/2 behind 8th place. IF the magic win the magic are half a game out of 8th. NJ is a full game and a 1/2 out of 8th. ANd Phill has a game Vs.the red hot Celtics.(ABC, 1:00, Sunday) If Philli looses then magic are in 8th. THIS IS A MAJOR MUST WIN GAME FOR THE MAGIC!!!!(Made by Me)

Nets point of view
The rejuvenated New Jersey Nets look to continue their playoff push as they host the fading Orlando Magic at Continental Airlines Arena.
After trading Kenyon Martin to Denver last summer and beginning the season with Jason Kidd on the injured list, the Nets got off to a dismal 4-12 start. However, the return of a healthy Kidd and a blockbuster deal that brought Vince Carter to New Jersey has helped the Nets crawl back into contention for their fourth consecutive postseason berth.
Carter scored 31 points and Kidd added 18, eight rebounds and four assists as the Nets held on for a 93-91 victory over the New York Knicks on Friday.
Clifford Robinson added 12 points for New Jersey, which has won eight of its last 10 games to pass sagging Orlando for ninth place in the Eastern Conference, just a half-game behind Philadelphia for the final playoff spot in the East.
Both the 76ers and the Magic lost Friday, but as the results were posted on the out-of-town scoreboard during the game, Kidd refused to acknowledge them.
I didn't have time to,'' said Kidd, who shot 7-of-16 from the field and 3-of-11 from 3-point range. ``I was too busy trying to get my 3-pointers off. I was being a two-guard tonight.'' (YAHOO PREVIEW)

The Nets have won 10 of the last 14 meetings with the Magic

My prediction- Magic win 106-100.

Me and a couple friends are gonna drive up to the Meadowlands(about a 45 minute drive) to get tickets for the game at the box office. There should be tickets. I doubt its a sellout.

If Hill doesnt play, we lose. If he plays its 50/50. If we win, it will be by 1 or 2 points.

anybody see mobeley last nite :( ...god we could really use his shooting, I think if we had him we would be sitting around 6th -4th instead of fighting for the 8th...this sucks...hopefully on Draft day we hear

"With the 12th pick in the NBA Draft the Orlando Magic select Salim Stoudamire from the University of Arizona"

Drafting Marbury + Foyle = Championship. \o/
We're gonna loose by at least 15.

This is how confident I am now with the team and his tremendous outside shooting lately :P ...

I doubt we'll win tonight because of the injuries, but if we can play like we did in the 4th quarter last night, we'll have a definite chance.

it will be very very tough with this current lineup. We just dont have the team to stop kidd and carter, i dont think. If we win and Philly loses tomorrow then we will be back in the 8th slot.

Yahoo's behind again. NBA.com's Courtside Live is up to date. Can't believe Hill's not playing. We're hanging in there right now and that's all we have to do. Hang in there and make a run at the end.
