NOTE FROM THE FORUM OWNER:

We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. This night was big for us. We should keep this up.

Playoffs is still within reach.

Hopefully the team can hold together and not loose another player.
If the Turk and Christie were available I would feel better but the bench is pretty thin, with Jameer out, it's even worse.

I heard they may try to sign someone else to a 10 day, who with experience is available?? another unknown player will be signed? (the other being Mark Jones)

One game back, but Philly owns the tie braker, so it's more than just one game back. :(

From the Orlando Sentinel:
Quote:

Playing without Nelson -- the second key player to get injured within a week -- the Magic (34-37) routed the Raptors (29-42) to stay within sniffing distance of a playoff berth. Orlando came into the night two games behind the Philadelphia 76ers for the final playoff spot, but it was, in reality, three games. The Sixers own a tiebreaker, meaning the Magic would have to finish a game better than Philly if it came to that.

Yeah. This is where all the loses that we should have won will come back and haunt us as we make the final push for the playoffs. We have like over 16 loses over teams that we should have easily beaten. :(

I honestly believe that Philly will begin to crumble a bit....there remaining schedule isn't a walk in the park and i know the Magic's remaing schedule isn't either...but the Magic have been playing well under Jent IMO...and these last two wins along with the way they played against Phoenix has given them a new sense of confidence and a sense of urgency...at least thats what i believe...just keep on playing their game and they'll be there

GO MAGIC!!

webber injured and will not be able to play for 7-10 days, so if we win the following games, we can still enter the playoffs

Well, we're half a game out of the 8 spot at this point...

Can you believe that at one point we were actually winning our division?

Even if the Celts beat Philly today, we are still a game back because philly owns the tiebreaker with us
