Our bigs sure are disappointing during this losing streak. Aside from Howard, we did not get enough from the other bigs.

McGrady and Howard... What could have been
Man We dont deserve to go to the playoffs the way we are playing. and if we even get in..... we are going to get broken down even more.......

We will get swepped 4-0 by the Miami Heat by 10 or more each time........ To tell you the truth we aint going to the playoffs

The First Mistake We did Was by Weisbrod Trading Mobley away........ Maybe he has not been paying attention on how Francis and Mobley work together. Ever since Mobley has left they have been under 500.......... And if Francis was not playing well Mobley would step and score 20, 30 points. And Grant hill would Score 20.

Big Game Situation againts the Knicks, Mobley steals the ball and secure the game with freethrows.

3 pointer made with under 1:00 to play in the game, againts utah which ended up to be an important point in the final minutes in the game for the magic win........
He was a leader on the team. And I think he made the magic better with his leadership.

Then he got traded.... Christie the Vet came over on the trade. Christie played no defense. And only played 21 games. But, made 1 game changing 3 pointer in 1 of the games. Was a decent leader. Went .367 from the Field,

While Mobley had over .400%
And Hedo wasnt having of games then, is having them now. Francis was playing well, now he playing much different. Why? Because Mobley is not there. Johnny Davis should have never been fired. Why? Because Mobley is not there.

The Magic Do not have that much Scoring. Only 4 players are scoring over 10 points. 2 players equal T-Mac's 32 points he had 2 years ago.
If you want the magic to be an offensive team dont trade mobley. Because the magic cant play deffence at all. THE ONLY WAY THE MAGIC WIN... IS BY OUT SCORING OTHER TEAMS!!!!!

I agree that trading Cuttino was a bad move and probably the trigger that launched this seasons collapse. However, im pretty sure Weisbrod was more concerned with dumping an "elderly" player with a big contract for a guy whose contract ends this offseason. His thinking, I assume, is to free up some cap space to go after a young free agent this offseason, sign him to a long term deal, and let him develop with Howard, Nelson, and Hedo to form a solid core of young players for the next while.

So, in a way I cant hold it against him for trading Cuttino, but I do think it is the reason we are in the shape we are in right now.

Go Magic.

I think in the Mobley/Chrisite deal. Mobley only had one year on his contract and Christie's contract is for next year as well. The reason he did this trade was to get something in return for Cat, just in case he doesnt' come back next year.

I agree. That's probably the motivation for JW to trade Cat. It was just that Christie did not work for us as he had hoped.
