We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. The few weeks of this season have been MORE frustrating to me than all of last year. This is a joke. We need to drop Cato and Battie like 2 week old bread and try to find some centers that will actually produce. They combined for a whopping 2 points tonight. Way to take it at 'em. We need to trade Francis to somebody....anybody IF he finishes the rest of the season playing the same way he has the past few weeks. Thank goodness we still have Stevenson signed up. He'll at least be our number 2 SG coming off of the bench next year. And we need to pray that Howard and Nelson will lead this team next year and they only continue to improve. |

We have 17 turnovers with Nelson accounting for 6 of them. |

I'm not even worried about the TO's and I'm not worried about the FG percentage, but when you consistently give up 100+ points to teams like the Bobcats, there is something seriously wrong. |

Don't take it out on Hill. He is about the only reason we are still at least in the game. True he is not as dominating as he once was, but he is playing his tail off. But there is no one that is stepping up. Howard still has no consistency on the offense, we have a rookie point guard who is playing well but still learning. Cato and Battie only has a combined 2 pts! |

Its true, with all the changes we have made, we still need a dominant center. We havent had one since Shaq. I wouldnt mind dumping Cato. He has NO OFFENSIVE GAME at all. He will block some shots, but he draws alot of technicals to. I would want to keep Battie as a backup. |

yeah but hill isn't stepping up to be a leader...I mean he isn't willing the team to try harder or play better, I just don't find him to be a leader because if he was then we wouldn't have tanked |

I agree. Only Hill is consitent with his shots. The rest of our teams are way off the mark. |

Yea. No way you can blame Hill. he is producing and trying to get others involved, but nobody is stepping up. He cant do it alone |

Well the thing is, I can see why JW would want these guys. I thought both of them would give us an excellent 1-2 punch at the C position. But the fact is that both of them have underachieved all year and they BOTH need to go. The Battie trade was one of the worst moves in a long time for the Magic. I thought Battie would be decent, but he hasn't even been that good. |

I understand where you're getting at. But this team has not just been constructed the right way. The combination of players hasn't clicked. I'm not saying it will never click, but there is not much chemistry on this seasons team. I don't know if a hockey guy JW can understand that and build us a winner. Whatever the next move will be is should center around Howard. |
