Orlando Magic forward Hedo Turkoglu broke his wrist in in Monday's loss to the Charlotte Bobcats and is expected to miss the rest of the season.

The time frame for recovery is six to eight weeks, according to Magic spokesman Joel Glass, which would extend beyond the regular season.

Turkoglu was averaging 14 points and 3.5 rebounds after 67 games.

Granted he's in a slump, but for the season he's averaging 14 points off the bench.

Our already depleted bench just got the nail in the coffin. I don't know if we can make a playoff push now. X0

u kno this team could be a lot better if we had a guy that could knock down 3's...I mean we don't hit any 3's at all and the guy thats supposed to be our 3 pt specialist pat garrity has decided to forget how to shoot. We really need a guy that can hit from outside, just imagine if we had kyle korver...well actually he would never get in the game but if we had someone who could shoot 3's like him then I think this team would be much better

breaking news: "Dwight Howard has asked for a trade after this season. He has been asking for more touches on the offensive end and he has not been getting them. Jameer Nelson took offense to the rumors that the Magic are going to be looking for a bigger point guard in the off season and he has made it clear that he wants out if he does not start next year. Grant Hill said that he will not opt out of his contract and he will take next year off to spend time with his family. The Magic have decided to re-hire Johnny Davis because John Weisbrod feels that he is the right man for the job. Tim Floyd and Sam Mitchell will be Davis' assistants."

Apart from the Davis part, that may become true sooner than we thought... :(

Big Blow. I think we can officially forget about any kind of playoff push now. We wont have any bench production. This season just keeps getting worse and worse!
