We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. Right now with the way our team is playing, I don't know which I would rather see. Of course I would like to see us win and get our young guys some playoff experience, but it will be painful to see us lose in 4 or 5 games(which I think we would if we make the playoffs). Pat Williams is the luckiest guy ever in the draft lotto, so you never know what will happen if we send him to the lotto this year. (Dwight and Bogut, that'd be amazing) I'm torn between both of them. Which scenario would you like to see for the Magic to finish the last 16 games of the season? (sorry if I come off pessimistic, but we have been playing like crap lately) |

I'd rather us make the playoffs even if it means getting blown out. This squad needs to get some experience in the playoff atmosphere, and guys like Grant Hill need to get back in the playoff mentality. Remember, the year before the Magic went to the NBA Finals, they got swept by the Pacers in the first round of the playoffs, the first time that squad had played together in the playoffs. Hardaway and O'Neal learned a lot, and knew what to expect when the next season came around. I'm sure it would be helpful for guys like Howard and Nelson... |

I don't know on this one, I would hate to see Shaq and the Heat dismantel the Magic, but on the other hand I see your point of getting experience. Pat Williams' rabbit foot does not sound bad either. Give me a couple of more games and I'll decide. |

I'd like them to make the playoffs and see what happens, but all of that is going to depend on one player, steve francis.it depends on whether not he wants to.this team won't make it without him playing his best down the stretch. |

I voted for the playoffs to win it all because our lotto position is probably going to suck so we should just go for it all and fail miserably. |

Drafting Marbury + Foyle = Championship. \o/

I think that at athis point the Magic can't even think about making to the playoffs... Even if they were really trying... We are just not good enough to be there. |

Yeah, they are probably thinking about the seventh stage of hell they are in, which is being on a team with a selfish baby like Francis and realizing they can't win without him. If I were in that situation I would just hang up my short shorts and live off my money in the caribbean. |

I don't know if Francis will ever grow up. He is an intense competitor and JW is right about this point. But you have to wonder about his basketball IQ. Or should it be about his Emotional IQ first.
