We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. I like what Jent is doing, he is giving the team a chance to win. I am all over inserting Stevenson into the starting lineup, his defense and ability to score from the outside and as a slasher is a big plus early. I think though that what I have seen that impresses me most the last two games is that for the most part the Magic attacked the opponents weaknesses, and you could tell Jent is looking closely at the matchups. Both are (or were) weaknesses with Davis, I would go nuts when he would go to a zone when the other team would have shooters on the floor. Last night it appeared Jent zoned when the Blazers were weak from the parameter, and manned up when the shooters were there. This also showed up in the rebounding AND transition defense, both looked better. The season really boils down to the next 6 games. Brutal |

Yes, we can see already smarter substitutions and also a better feel for the game coming from Jent. As you said it Brutal, , this is coaching to give your team a chance to win. LET"S GO MAGIC! |
