The Orlando Sentinel reported this:

Quote:

The Sentinel reviewed a videotape by Orlando-based Sun Sports Network, which broadcast the game Friday night. It shows that after Francis' shot was blocked by SuperSonics forward Rashard Lewis, he tumbled to the floor. He slides to the baseline, his legs in the air. His momentum carries him forward, where -- on the Sun Sports monitor -- it appears his legs are then pushed away by the photographer to the right.

Francis has an angry reaction, kicks out hard with his left leg and mutters something.

Fans near the baseline who saw the incident booed Francis the next time he handled the ball.

When Francis was asked by reporters after the game if he had kicked a photographer, he said, "No. ..... Uh, uh ..... I don't know what happened."

Francis said, "He [Reinking] threw my legs down, man. That was it."

Steve-O got mad because the photographer pushed away his legs, and you know he is not going to take anything, he did not keep calm, as usual, but what would you do if you got your legs pushed away after you fell down the way he did?
Maybe don't kick the photographer, but you would've said something, wouldn't you?

And I agree, a couple of games off is not a bad idea, that'll give him time to relax some and his back to rest. But not too many games, he needs to be part of this team, and I want to see how he plays in Jents's strategy.

I hate to say this but this tema might be better off w/ Steve O...it seems he always is delivering errant passes that turn into turnovers. Plus this would give him chance to rest his inflamed disc in his back which could be the culprit of his crappy shooting during our losing streak
you are definitely right about this. this can be a great thing for this team. it can be an eye opener and a time for the bench (like deshawn), to shine and show us what they can do. and it could also give francis time off for the good and help our playoff run. or it could just hurt or team so much and put us out of the playoff picture for good. thats it. we will have to just wait it out.
