We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. You can also visit the original MagicMadness Forum at http://orlandomagic.proboards.com.

Drafting Marbury + Foyle = Championship. \o/
|
Yep, they are hot now. And I do believe they will go far on the playoffs. Sometimes i wonder how would it be with a healthy Hill, Howard, Jameer and T-Mac. Then I stop thinknig about it because it makes me start thinking that maybe... just maybe, the trade wasn't that good... We will never know how would T-Mac react in a team that actually coud give him enough wins to be happy.... Battie Howard HIll T-Mac Jameer and not forgetting we would still have Hedo. Oh well, just a thought. All good for him, but we root for the Magic, and our team now is different. |

yep, forgot about that detail. But drafting Dwight would mean for sure that JW would trade JH anyway... so we could have got somenbody else... Anyway, our starting lineup would be simply intimidating

Howard would be just as effective, or shall I say, ineffective as Yao Ming is now though. I think Howard is more of an integral piece of the puzzle with TMac gone, for better or worse. Just a personal opinion here. |

I'm just curious about this "closeness" that TMac is having with Hill. Does this mean there is a possibility that Hill will be a Rocket soon?!? ![]() That's just how this article hits me. |

Hmm...that's an interesting theory. I hope for our sake that Hill isn't getting any ideas of heading out west. I know he's said that he wants to be here when Howard really starts blowing up, but I wouldn't blame him for wanting to join the Ming/McGrady tandem.

Besides remember JW has called out Hill's contract (along with Cato and Christie) earlier this month. Could this be TMac's revenge on JW? Hill's contract extension is player-option. Don't want to be an alarmist, but can't help connecting the dots.

Oh man...think if McGrady was able to persuade Hill to go to the Rockets. That would be the ultimate diss against the franchise...the two guys who were going to lead us to the promised land both on another team doing just that. It would take me awhile to get over it if it did happen... |

I hope I am reading too much in to this too. It would be really be a killer if Hill joins up with Tmac in Houston and end up as the missing piece for the Rockets. |

The Rockets have been red hot as of late. They're 13 games over .500, and remember, at one point early on they were like 10 games under. I really do see them as a possible NBA Finals team this season. |
