We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. After watching the Nets backcourt rip the Magic tonight I am reminded of the sage words I read on this board back in January. "If Jameer Nelson playes more then 8-10 minutes a game the Magic are in trouble" Well, lets look closely.....Magic record with Jameer not starting 28-25. Magic record with Jameer starting 3-6. Damn...I hate being right. Brutal PS-That 3-6 will look alot worse the end of this week. |

Drafting Marbury + Foyle = Championship. \o/

Brutal, seriously: you make stupid statements. When Jameer wasn't starting we had Cuttino most of the time.... Howe can you not recall that. Your quest against Jameer is one of the most stupid things I've seen among Magic fans. Sorry for being harsh, but I had to say it. |

Huh...Cattino has been gone since the first week of January...and MISSED 9 games with injury in November/December. You had better rethink that statement, because while you can call my correct (and the number prove it) observation stupid, yours isn't even correct. It diminshes your credibility. Brutal |

Jesus Christ Brutal... Jameer only started getting minutes after the trade... You seem to be the only person watching the games and not realising that Jameer is great. He scores, he passes, he lets other play, he even rebounds. Mostly: he doesn't make stupid shots and keep his TO's low. He really knows how to make a team work. How can you not see that makes me wonder what goes through your mind... |

All I see is a team losing.....and looking worse each time out. I see no greatness in Jameer. Brutal |

if u wanna look at records, look at davis' record and tell me that hes not the problem. how about getting ur facts right before u pretend like u know what ur talking about. ur 50 years old and u have the basketball intelligence of a 5 year old. for someone who watches so much basketball, u really dont know what to look for in a game. thanks guys. once again, i made a fool out of brutal. its not really that hard. after all, he kinda makes a fool out of himself before i even post anything. |

I have to agree with these knuckleheads, Brutal. Jameer isn't polished by any sense of the word, but he has filled the gap caused by Mobley just fine. Given that he is a little pup, he still has time to blossom and be even better in time. I'll bet Jameer is in a Magic jersey a LOT longer than most of the guys on our squad. |

Uhm, maybe because Hill did not play the last 3 games and Francis is really stinking it up out there. The player you are dissing is one of the few who are actually playing well for us. I don't understand why you hate Nelson so much. Did he like steal your girl? |

Come on Brutal! We can't see the logic on why you're dissing Nelson. Given Nelson does get distracted during interview when asses are in parade, but come on, so far he has been nothing but good for us. |

With Hill out, besides Howard, Nelson was the only guy producing. |

I stand by everything I said.....and so far I have been proven right. Look behind the player, look at the numbers, look at the team performance. Jameer might be a great guy, I just do not think it in the best interests of the franchise, today or in the future to have the point guard position manned by a player as limited as Jameer. Production is more than points....if that were the case World B. Free would be in the ahll of fame. Brutal |

the magic are 3-7 with jameer starting. 3 of those losses are w/o hill. 2 of those other losses came from the heat. so ur gonna diss jameer because he couldnt win against the heat? that makes a lot of sense. |
