We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. You can also visit the original MagicMadness Forum at http://orlandomagic.proboards.com.

I think the Red Sox will win in 6 over the yankees, Cardinals in 6 over Astros. |

Damn Yankees had an 8-0 lead, and Boston almost couldnt get it done. Boston caught up big time. Big props for Boston. But in the end...Yankees won

Yep, I just caught the end of that game. New York won 10-7 and take a 1-0 series lead. |

The game would have been better if Mussena pitched a perfect game. Hell, it would have been the best game of the playoffs, even the ones that hav'nt been played yet. |

Yep, definitely. I saw a stat on ESPN that his 19 retired batters in a row was the longest streak in a playoff game since 1960. O_o That's just sick... |

If the Cardinals and Yankees meet in the world series, who do you guys think will win. My pick is the Cardinals, to much offense for the Yankees to handle. |

I think I might go with the Cardinals as well. The Yankees couldn't beat the Marlins last year, and the Cards are a much, much better team than last year's Marlins. |

It looks like the Yankees will sweep Boston. :^O But the Astros are still well alive in their series of with St. Louis. The Yankees pulled out their WHIPPING STICKS last night and just SPANKED BOSTON. :^O |

I did. I was playing some sports games on the internet when I turn on the t.v. and it was 6-4 Yankees in THE TOP OF THE 3RD INNING. I actually so the rest of that game and you could basically drop a PIN in Fenway and you could hear it. |

I really wanted the Red Sox to go to the World Series, but it'll be basically impossible at this point. The main reason I wanted them to go was to see if they'd win it all and finally shut their fans up about the damn curse...that's all you ever hear about with them. On another note, great win by the Astros yesterday. Yankees 3 - Red Sox 0 Cardinals 2 - Astros 1 |

Me too. I also want the Red Sox to win the World Series so they can shut the hell up. The same for the Cubs, but they didn't make the playoffs (chokers). Plus, my Phillies didn't make the playoffs, but I'm glad we fired Larry Bowa.

This is gonna be a very nice series. El Duque will sweep the Sox tonight. And the Red Sox will cry again until next postseason (if they make it). |
