What are the best internet browsers out there, and which one do you use? I've used Internet Explorer on my computer forever (mainly because its just the one that comes with Windows), but just recently downloaded Mozilla FireFox because I've heard many great things about it. The thing is, some websites (including the main page of this site) look different and messed up compared to how they look in the IE browser. I wish there was just some type of universal browser that made all websites and internet content look the same throughout. Its hard coding a website when you know its not going to look the same to others as it does to you on your monitor. X0 |

I myself use IE for the same reason. Because it came with windows. But I've heard quite a good things about FireFox. I'm fine with IE though. of course it has some problems from time to time but I don't think there is a browser out there that works perfectly all the time and for every site. |

I downloaded Firefox and gave it a try. Personally... suited me just fine, did everything I wanted out of a browser. So last night I d/l'd the full version Mozilla. Funny thing is... I don't really like it. First and foremost is for some reason, my mouse scroll button (Logitech Trackman) doesn't work anymore. And believe me... that thing gets a big workout. Worked in Firefox... nada in Mozilla. Plus, while Firefox was a nice and tidy package and displayed my menu bars as I liked them... Mozilla seems cumbersome and no matter what I try to edit, I can't get the damn "Home" button onto the Navigation Toolbar. I want to get rid of this stupid Personal Navigation bar... but its the only one that will display the Home button. Minor beefs, I suppose... but annoying nonetheless. |
