Today, at E3, a new Metroid title was announced. No, it isn't the Dread project (I don't know if that was ever officially disproved), but it looks amazing nonetheless.![]() See the preview here. Metroid's going back to it's roots, it is. Samus's suit differs from the style that the Prime series gave her for some time and Ridley is classic purple again (goodbye, Meta Ridley and Omega Ridley!). Best thing I have to say about the 2-minute preview is the terrific graphics and visuals. Worst is that Samus Aran seems to look anime this time, and that's not a direction I'd like to see the series go in. I even mistook her for Cloud Strife for a moment. In other news, the Metroid Prime games can be found in a trilogy set after August 24, 2009! Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes will have the Wii's motion controls just like Corruption. |
