Yes folks, she's back. This time in her working outfit, complete with large sword.![]() This is another of E2046's figures, though this time, the instructions are very poor. I reckon the photo copy has reached the end of it's useful life. It's very hard to make out the parts and where they're supposed to fit. I reckon this kit is an internet search monster. Thankfully, there are plenty of images out there which should help. The figure also suffers from artist's perv mode. The model as is, shows the top of her bodice??? split and her nipples poking through. I decided early on, this was not how I wanted her finished. First step is to wash the parts and remove the pour stubs. Checking for blemishes, there were remarkably few so not much work was required here. The legs and bum are now cemented together and ready for priming. ![]() Next came the modification to the bodice. Milliput was used to fill the 'tear' holes and cover her naughty bits. Took a bit of fettling as milliput doesn't like me much. ![]() You may also notice the scabbard with a black dot on it. It isn't a dot, but a small magnet. A corresponding one in her hand means the sword and scabbard can be detached for transport / storage. ![]() More to follow (obviously). W |

Cleaning, sanding, filling, drilling and test fitting were the order of the day yesterday. Today, primer and blemish removing. Although only the bottom bits have been glued, here's where she is now. Notice 'gentlemans correction'. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() With a bit of luck, I may be able to start painting tomorrow. W |

I know, Sigourney Weaver in that basque................ In this instance though, this is her Demon Slaying 'outfit' as that's what she does for a living. W |

![]() Preferred Weaver as the unwitting vamp in Ghostbusters - that would make a great figure model. The scene with Rick Moranis (lucky feller, he got to snog Sigournay) is one of the great cinematic comedic moments. peebeep |

Painting these details is a real pain with my shaky hand. I've lost count of the number of touch ups I've done. Now for the pickies.......... ![]() The front of her bodice/basque/thingy is almost done. The back still needs a lot of work. ![]() Looks impressive when added to her bottom bits. ![]() These are supposed to be half white, half black with black and white detailing and a hint of red at the bottom. Now there's fun W |

That skirt looks more like you have to paint a picture rather than a model. Good Luck! |
