Yep! I was right. I was definately getting the fancies for figures. This one, although an E2046 figure, came much cheaper from a guy in Turkey. The one I really fancied ran out of time, so this was the alternative. Now for some background. Alisa is a character that first appeared in the arcade game Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion. She is an android created by Doctor Bosconovitch able to sprout wing-like jets from her back allowing her to briefly fly at great speed during fights, sprout chainsaws from her arms , and remove her head during moves such as one of her grapples, "Head Explosion". She has pink and dark pink (red?) hair and green eyes. ![]() ![]() The previous owner had removed all the parts from their individual packaging, seems a daft thing to do if your not going to build it. All the parts were there though, but it took a while to get them past the selotape and bubble wrap. Cleaning and sanding away the pour stubs comes next. Pickies will follow when work starts in ernest. W |

Well to be fair, if the airliner is odd, by definition it is strange!

Some progress today and some pickies. The first thing that becomes apparent about the figure, is that oft quoted phrase "Artistic License". Here tight shorts have been replaced by a pair of 'skimpies', very nice but hardly accurate. The two piece 'dress' is now a flowing cape and perhaps most disappointing, the replacement of her black stockings, with striped socks! Most of the other details, though slightly overdone, are at least more accurate. And look what you get in the box........... ![]() PLANS And the obligatory photo to guide you. ![]() I've started with the legs and torso. My original intention was to fit each piece fill with milliput and after carving the excess away, separate the individual parts for painting. Ha! Milliput and I don't get on that well and the gaps needed filling and sanding to be acceptable. So, I'm going along the sub assembly route and see how far I get. ![]() White primer already on and ready to paint. W Edited by WOLFPACK, Jun 29 2014, 08:03 PM.

Those changes have taken it a surprisingly long way from the original. Will this involve some modding, or are you going to stick with what you have? |

I thought of adding the shorts, but Milliput and I dont get on that well, so I'll give her black stockings and leave it at that I think. There's also a lot of embelishment on the torso, again I dont feel confident enough to remove resin and add filler. Keep it simple at the mo I reckon. W |

Grant. I invested in the Valejo face painting set from Little Cars. Sprays great and has eight tones you can use. For the shadows, I use a pastel mix for finer control. The belt I finished using my 'natural metal technique, silver paint polished with Rub'N Buff and gloss varnished. Some more update pickies, the lower toso / legs / bum etc. ![]() ![]() The overlarge flowing cape / dress / frock or whatever. ![]() ![]() Finally, the 'chest'. ![]() More to follow, W |

Hightlight boobs? As if. those sorts of things should be admired with subtlety and decorum. Todays progress, from the ground up for some strange reason, but anyway, here they are:- ![]() ![]() ![]() Being a crappy brush painter, I'm now waiting for my eye decals to arrive. W |

Yes, eye decals. With my painting skills, she'd end up with two black eyes! "A man's got to know his limitations." W |
