Quite a selection!

Shenyang J-11
Dornier 335
Me-109E1
P-51B
P-51D
Hawk T.1

How many kits do the rest of you have on the go at any given time?

Trying to work on a beat up old Italeri 1'72 F-104A kit which has spend years on the SoD
But am feeling woozy as I have all week pretty much and if do manage to pick up some plastic, it breaks.

Am at the point of slapping some silver paint on and to hell with it.
but first check emails and forums and cup of tea and then prolly bed

My Hunter has been neglected cos I decided I want to put in some clear sprue for the nav lights
The Gladiator is on hold because of the above
The Sabre is on hold because the matt varnish streaked
The Hawk is on hold because I melted the wings in hot water trying to straighten them

so short answer is zero! :lol:

I did manage to paint some 30mm pirates and an about to have another go at the 28mm metal Gandalf with pony and cart sometime this month

At the moment four, which is an average number for my works-in-progress:

Airfix Mosquito PR XVI - almost ready for a final sanding and first coat of primer;
Czech Model XP-77 - a very small model in 1:48, currently in the fill-sand-prime-repeat cycle;
Monogram Me 262 which is going to be an Avia S-92 Turbina - about the same stage as the Mosquito;
Revell B-24 - stalled until I decide whether to proceed with my original plan of the 466th BG assembly ship, or to do a standard line bird.

And research ongoing into a number of others.

Two which is normal for me, one in the build stage one being decalled. Anymore and nothing would ever get finished.

I currently have 4 on the go, my usual limit is however 3.

Current works are :

1/72 Roden Dr.1 - waiting for the oil paint to dry before I can continue.
1/72 Roden Felixstowe - Working on interior and engine assembly.
1/72 Eduard Spad XIII - About to paint wing struts, then let the oil dry on those.
1/72 Intech Bf-109 G2, truly awful kit, having puttied the entire surface, rescribed, riveted, I am now dealing with truly monstrous steps in the under wing to fuse join.

Since I am using a fair amount of oil paint, I am usually building or painting one, while the other is curing.

Ooh now lets see.....
2 x Airfix 1:48 Bf109E
1:72 Fujimi F-4S Black Bunny
1:48 Hobbyboss A-6A Intruder
1:48 Trumpeter T-38 Talon
1:72 Airfix Vulcan
1:32 Revell Bf109G-10 Erla
1:350 Academy RMS Titanic
1:35 Heller Gepard
I think that's it!

More than one is definitely an aid to a higher production rate and I normally try and have 2 on the go. I tried 3, but one just ends up languishing.

At the moment my Gloster VI is stalled 'cos of the scary PE bending next on the list and the Fe2B is just such an intense, detailed model I am having trouble getting into it.

Hmm. As I have some time on my hands at the moment I've decided that my stash catalogue needs updating. I'm about half way through maybe. So far I'm at 340 kits of which 60, YES 60, have been started in some form or other!!!!! I think I need help. I'm sure I'm going to find more too.

Mostly still in there boxes, thankfully! The actual S.O.D. is relatively barren. 3 or 4 aircraft, 6 or 7 cars. Of the total so far, over half are 1/24-25...

Blimey - I have one more recent start on the go (or on the SOD ...) and about 6 more definitely on the SOD.
I really don't do more than one at a time normally.
I do, however, dream a lot!

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who likes to have multiple projects on the go. It may seem like slow progress, but I tend to think it ups my completion rate if I have several things to be getting along with. I'm currently going through a phase of trying to complete one new kit then one selected S.O.D kit. It's going quite well at the moment and I have even taken to attempting some Luftwaffe 39-45 stuff that I wouldn't normally even contemplate. I'll see how it goes, as I'm trying to get away from building every Hawk in existence for a while to get my mojo back!

Blimey, I usually have one going at a time, although lately I've been starting a new one while the earlier one is in the painting/drying/decaling stage which usually has large gaps of bugger all happening.

I tried to stick to only having one or two on the go too. Thanks to my enthusiasm coming in waves, I think I've improved to about 15 to 20.... I'd like to just motivate myself to finish one!
