Sorry for the lack of what is in the box. Can edit back in if anyone wishes me to do so.
Thought I would try and pick up from where I had left off just before Christmas so I don't have a future SoD it to add to the groaning pile on the doomed shelf!

Made a silly decision to modify the kit's pilot as the Finnish uniform was different, and that the Swedish pilots would have worn something similar. Too bad if they didn't! :tease: After a couple of attempts with Greenstuff, I was still unhappy with the effort so I started again using a similar two part resin which is grey and I forget what it is caled :slaphead:
It is a bit firmer and holds its shape better so this seems to be the way to go.

The pilot is taking off his oxygen mask having got back from a sortie. He is NOT Wurzel Gummidge putting on his polits head so he isn't Aunt Sally!

I didn't bother detailing the cockpit. There is room for some extra detailing but was impressed with what came in the box.
Forgot to take a picture of it before cementing the upper nose/cabane section.
The interior went together really well, and I like the rear cabane/instrument panel combo. It hopefully means the upper wing will go on a lot easier than having the to place the struts at the right angle.

Had to fill a gap on the starboard wing root, possibly caused by me when cementing the fuselage halves together.
I had a discrepancy on the port side aligning the upper nose by about 0.5mm which I was able to solve by some manipulation and judicious glueing. This may have caused a gap between the upper nose and the cockpit wall which required filling.

Over all the kit has been a lot of fun so far. Things might change when I go through the filling sanding routine and then the dreaded rigging!

Have got the little fella primed
Looking at the macropic there are more than a few things I want to iron out but I just want to get him painted and in the aircraft so I can move on now.
