I'm new here and this is the first time that I have started a toplc. I am also new to modeling apart from bits and bats when I was a little younger. I recently built myself a little "mancave" and bought myself 20 or so models, mainly Revell, a couple of Airfix and 3 Bronco. My question is, doe's anybodoy know Bronco and if so how do you rate them? Any information will be welcome for this fat fingered, bad eyesighted newbie Many thanks in advance, Dave |

I managed to inherit a part started Bronco Comet tank (it's a long story), it looks very good and when I checked out reviews of the kit it gets a more or less unanimous thumbs up. peebeep |

Built a few Military vehicles of there's. I can only recommend them .They do however go into a lot of detail in the building of there military kits,(same as Dragon), which for me is fine. So beware of that for a newbe. Best start on something like Tamiya. Cheaper too. Cheers foxy

Bronco make excellent AFV and vehicle kits, along with some artillery. I've built the Comet with no problems, just keep an eye on the plans as there are a couple of variants in there..![]() Their Centurion kits are good too, Just don't like the road wheel breakdown. ![]() Their late model Tiger I is excellent, apart from the tracks which need replacing. ![]() The M-10 is a bit fiddly and most annoyingly, has no method of locking the turret onto the hull, it drops off at the slightest excuse. ![]() Their M3 Stuart is a little gem too, I just couldn't cope with the individual end connectors for the spare track and grousers. ![]() The 25pdr is a real pain to build, I haven't finished it yet. Every small part than can be separately moulded of made from brass, has been. If I can finish them, anyone can. And they supply metal gun barrels in their kits too! W |
